Since I've put up a new map that shows the original location of the city there some suggestions I'd like to put out and need your comments.

On Blacklight city

1 - Should there be a sewer system below the city?

2 - Do you think the city should be a series of canals (like in Arena)?

3 - How large do you think the palace should be, in terms of cell size?

4 - What else do you think how the city can be improved?

On Cormaris View

1 - Should the village have a port?

2 - Should it be expanded beyond 2 cells?

3 - Same as question #4 on Blacklight

More to come Wink

Blacklight:
1 - Yes please. Sewers in general are excellent locations for adventure; thieves, smugglers, goblins, daedra worshippers etc.

2 - I've never played Arena so I couldn't say.

3 - Hard to say anything definete, but I would say relative to the size of the city and relative to the size of the Emperor's palace in the Imperial city.

4 - I love lush parks, statues, ponds and fountains. Also the more NPCs milling about the more interesting a city gets, I think.

Cormaris View:
1 - Yes. I think they would take advantage of being able to do trade on the river. Using rivers to ferry goods used to be a very cheap way of transportation; rafts doesn't need food or rest like horses do.

2 - No. Small settlements can be just as nice as large ones I think. I like Seyda Neen as much as Balmora, the first for its cozy atmosphere and the latter for its excellent services.

3 - A clothing-optional beach :lmao: No, sorry... same as #4 above too :D

On Blacklight city

1 - Should there be a sewer system below the city? YES

2 - Do you think the city should be a series of canals (like in Arena)? YES

3 - How large do you think the palace should be, in terms of cell size? 1 Exterior Cell

4 - What else do you think how the city can be improved? Make the palace tall... with a magical black light at the top of the highest spire/tower that glows at night!

On Cormaris View

1 - Should the village have a port? No, but perhaps some small boats that travel the river.

2 - Should it be expanded beyond 2 cells? No, keep it small, but add some farms around it...

3 - Same as question #4 on Blacklight. Redoran style of architecture.
