This thread is for all the ideas of new businesses for Blacklight. I'd
like to hear your ideas for new types since the city is practically
going to double in size for the new game. Such as: food stores,
fishmongers, etc., etc.

How about a small ISP promoting free services? The NPC could be named Connecticus Freebius (obviously Imperial). 
Ok, not that funny...
But I would like to see:
1. a printer that does books and a newspaper.
2. an alchemist's supply that focuses on rare ingredients
3. a silversmith (somebody must make all those Imperial cups, plates, forks, etc...)
4. a scribe who provides scrolls and has scroll making supplies (some magical)
5. a blacksmith/weaponsmith focusing on silver weapons
and others....

Furniture store/carpenter? Because like Ben said, someone has to make crap like that.
That's all I can think of right now... I'll edit this if I think of more.

An Arena, as I have suggested before.
Winery.
Clothiers, and a tannery where your Guar hide gets made into leather jackets...
And WHERE does all the crockery we see in Tamriel come from? Surely there should be clay mines and a kiln producing pottery?
Ditto Furniture, and loggers logging the trees around blacklight.

maybe some sort of caravan company that is head in blacklight and ships
stuff to the smaller cities and towns like comairs view and ald khul

The city will have all that. The only problem is Oblivion cell size. I
may have to make the city larger than 12 (since it seems the cell size
is smaller).

I've noticed from the landtest the cell size is smaller so after I get
the new mod uploaded we'll be making Blacklight, Cormaris View,
Windhelm and the others larger.
