I was just reading about a brewery for Oblivion so I was thinking of
doing one for the Morrowind version of Blacklight. So I'm asking for
ideas on names for a brewery there.

Excellent idea
A plantation somewhere in the lands might be useful too, that produces
the raw material for the beverage(s)? Just an idea that popped in my
head.
"Nectar of ?Light" maybe? To tie in with liquid and the town name.
Perhaps you could come up with a localized beverage produced in the
brewery, like Graija is for Silgrad, and I could have a crack at
modelling the bottled version? That would probably have to be for
Oblivion though, as I can't export to NIF.

I like that.
I've made two buildings designated.
#19 in (-21,12) will be a brewery (will have to add some more objects there)
#30 in (-20,11) will be a winery.
I think a glassmaking place will be needed as well.

A glassmaking is going to be available at (-21, 11). But until I put up
a new photo it won't be available because of the changes I've placed
there.

I should add a distellery as well. Maybe Cormais View should have it.

Is there a little cliff that you could site the brewery on with a
stream of pure highland water? If so you might call your distillery:
'Bluff Spirits'
Would help if there is a family tomb connected - to keep the ancestors
happy! So one of your tipples might be 'Happy Ancestors.'
How many types of spirit would you produce?
There is a plum brandy from Romania called Tsuica - sorry, can't
remember the spelling (maybe I drank too much of it) and of course the
Chinese and Japanese make rice wine - you might name that after our
resident magus - Rincewind - or maybe call it 'Ricewind?' That would be
the wind the adds speed to your escape.
Heh, is fun.

the best alcohol I have drunk is a sort of Chinese alcohol called "plum-wine"... it is very good...
see, the warm rush you get from alcohol comes within a minute of
SIPPING plum-wine, making it very tasty... it tastes of pickled plum (a
wonderful snack) and is a luxurious drink... though not gourmet like
wine, sakke, or brandy...
it is between the casual beer and the gourmet wines.... kinda like a cocktail... sort of use
anyhow... maybe that'll give ideas?
(put my favorite drink in
)

If you decide to go with the name 'Bluff Spirits' then you might
consider adding an ST placename to it: '...enter dunmer
place-name...Bluff Spirits, like Cougan's Bluff for an Aussie tipple,
or Bordeaux for French wines of the region, etc?

I could use a few new signs. One for the brewery, winery, and a banner
for the distellery. I still got to find the right building in Cormaris
for the distillery.

I believe Shein and Mazte were the main stable drinks... add Sujamma
for those a bit wealthier... Flin for the even wealthier...
and Cyrodiilic Brandy for outlanders who can't handle Dunmer brews or rich guys

Why not. I'll have to add some new statics to Cormaris for the distillery. There is only 2 buildings left to add it to.

Terrible stuff, they sell it in night clubs in London - that's why so many of them come out and act like monsters!

Monsters, where, where
All of you have given me good ideas for all the parts for the areas.
I've been placing the statics for the three areas so I'll have the
exteriors done for the next version.

potentially lucrative trade, but I suspect you should be aware that,
although someone is bound to do this, Bethsoft have rejected the idea
of too much 'adult material,' so that the portrayal would have to be
very discrete.
Also, how would everyone feel if the mod came to be known for that and that alone?
So I suggest caution.

Thought well, said well, wise man and I'd like to second raggidman's advice.
I#m not against this kind of stuff, don't get me wrong, but since we
want to make Silgrad Tower available for a broad range of people,
topics like these should be done with subtlety and with style. To be
honest, over the years I've been part of the modding scene I became
quite annoyed and quite bored with most of the mods that were promising
"adult material" ... seems that some people should get a proper
understanding what adult really means.

Nah, let's leave it in - best kind of fun and reminder.
It is not a bad idea - remember the 'house of ill repute in Suran? But,
like that, it needs to be more about 'atmosphere' than detail to work
within the Elderscrolls lines is all...

I don't have anymore large exterior buildings for a casino but the Red
Dagger in the NW corner of the city has dancers. But a gambling
district for the new city is a good idea.
On a side note, I was at the hospital last Sat. for an eye problem.
Lousy cold virus spread to my eyes and I was unable to focus properly
(was diagnosed as Conjuctiveitis (also known as 'pink eye')). It took
till today to see print again.
