Thanks, I'm not really sure that they have the right "look" to them though for a shrine-- a bit too mechanical.

Nearly all of the Ayleid stuff uses the same 8 or so textures (which I
had to make for this anyway) so it'll be easy to stick this on any
model you like now :-)
The only problem with exteriors are that it realy WON'T be easy to
disguise the Ayleid-ness. The shape of the architecture is WAY to
distinctive. I'll have a look and see how it goes... :-)

Oh well, we can still use it for something else if we want to.

If its too extreme we can probably come up with new meshes to use, but
lets check how the Ayleid looks first. Also, maybe we could come up
with some explanation as to why the sets look similar, since the
Ayleids worshipped Daedra, and these are Daedric Shrines. |

Here are the textures applied to an exterior...
This is just taken in the CS so doesn't show the glowmaps:
These two were taken in Nifskope and show the glowyness quite well:
I think it looks ok. Some of the textures will have to be altered
slightly if you want to use them for the exterior, as they don't quite
match up perfectly like they do on the inside. I'll only do this though
if you want to use them :-)

Looks great hannah, hmm, I'm inclined to say use them, but then again
we're not going to be building dungeon exteriors any time to soon, so
lets put it on hold until later in the project.
Could you download the Ayleid Architecture Project from TESsource and start applying your textures to the interiors?
Also, do you think the floors would look better if they had a tile look to them?

I'll go have a look for that resource now.
I was reluctant to put tile patterns on the floor for a couple of reasons...
Firstly, the lines won't match up on all the different parts of the
floor as the texture is repeated ... oddly. It's do-able, but it will
look a bit odd in places. The lines in Bethesda's textures don't even
match up everywhere.
The other reason is that the texture from the floor isn't JUST used on
the floor... it's repeated in other places (like door frames). So what
would look like nice tiles on the floor might not look so great
elsewhere.
Also, I kinda like the smooth look of a huge chunk of black marble :-)

Right, I've started adding my textures to the meshes. Crap, there are a LOT of them! This could take some time.......
Any idea how you want the doors to look? I'm open to suggestions, but I think a nice glowy pattern might be nice :-)

That's probably the best bet, really I don't have a lot of ideas, so you have plenty of free reign here.

Hey, been there...wait, that is there...
All my mod there is just normal retextured ayleid stuff with CP textures.
Took me two straight days to finish retexturing all of that stuff, and
I think there is a screwup with the ARNHall4Way02 (smething like that)
mesh, it has the wrong mesh.

Maybe we can set up some kind of promo thing with this IATE? That way
you get your textures, you can release something, and Senaria can get
some PR. |
