I could not find an existing version of the Song of Return, so I wrote my own.
I'll admit that it needs some work.

The Song of Return
- Unknown Author, taken from the vaults of the Bards’ College in Haafingar
The Song of Return has been translated from a now forgotten language into the common tongue.
Wind at our backs, gods by our sides.
To southern realms we sailed forth, onward to land we ride.
The hulls of our ships have reached the sand, a journey from our old land.
This strange place was once our home, now back on its shores we stand.
This lonely cape in tales of old.
Our journey shall be told.
Though all looks safe, nothing is as it seems.
Once before did we return, chased off by violent screams.
We stand here now with 500 men,
Hearts of bears within.
These men are that of heroes, fighting for their kin.
Each one knows, in their heart,
That their only option is to win.
Here we come to rid these lands, of the men who shoved us out.
Swords in hand, our cause is just, the enemies will rout.
We fight here on the battlefield, willing to give our lives.
We make one last fatal charge, our foes will not survive.
Now that we have rid the lands, our people will be left alone.
Our song shall be sung forever, it will be carved in stone.
Now that we can live in peace, we need to choose a king.
What other choice is there but Ysgramor, son of Hälsing?
Ysgramor led the army, with fury in his heart.
He wanted to claim his people’s lands, this is just the start.

Everything is accurate to lore except the name of Ysgramor's father, which is never mentioned.
