Without the viking specular helm design the mod won't be complete.

I created the Gally/GallyDrop function for that sort of thing, dammit.
Please use it.

With the dragon/serpent being a strong symbol of sorts to Norse culture
I was thinking of a carved and highly detailed dragon head bow,
basically a bow with dragons' heads at the end and assorted other
carvings along the bow. |

I don't have anything drawn out yet since my artistic talent is a bit
sub par, I'll try to get some sort of concept in next week, unless
someone has the idea in their head and wants to concept it. |

I was thinking of having the dragon heads be facing the other way so it
kind of curves back and then the dragons are facing towards the enemy.
Ill get a rough sketch up hopefully tonight. |

this armor and weapon retexture mod makes me think of how parts of the skyrim mod might look like: http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=2546#gallery

Yeah... *sigh* .. I want to start working on it but my comp just won't
handle it. Hoping for a new comp but no idea when that will happen yet.

That white fur retexture's pretty nice. It'd be a good starter for
atmosphere and maybe a few tweaks could make it perfect and original. |

One thing we have to remember is we don't want to be just using things
from obliv and simply recolouring them. There was a mod that I once
played for Morrowind, and it was a very well thought out mod, but I was
put off by the fact that all the buildings and all the armour was just
recoloured Morrowind stuff.
Anyway, for ideas, you guys might want to check out a game called
mount&blade (taleworlds.com). It's free to use till you get to lvl
6, and has some good viking style armour. There are a lot of very good
mods to draw inspiration from aswell.
