Hey guys 
One of the stories I've always loved is the Biography of the Wolf
Queen. To me it always seemed as though she took the worst of all the
villains we love to hate and made it better.
The soul gem that Potema inherited (a huge yellow gem from all
accounts, imbued with the soul of a huge werewolf) is an artifact that
has a lot of evil potential. According to the legend/lore, just before
her death she took the soul gem to a less than reputable mage and had
him put a whopping big confusion type spell on it. She then conned the
boy Pelagius, the son of the current (at that time) ruler to take it as
a gift to his father. At the same time she gave the boy a ring that she
told him would prevent injury from falls.
As we know from history, the yellow gem drove Emporer Pelagius mad and
the ring caused the death of another king when he fell from his horse
and (of course) the ring did not save him.
Could we perhaps build a quest or two to find and possibly destroy (or at least contain) these two evil gems?
