Nord Voices |

It has come to my attention that we need quite a few people to do voice
overs for nords (other races aswell but nords mainly) so if you have
Mic and sound like a Nord, upload your voice here.

I really like both your Breton voices, very good, the Nord voices have
a lot of potential, but I think they need more emotion and a heavier
accent, just for kicks, can either of you do a really heavy Scottish
accent? Like Fat Bastard's voice, if you've ever seen Austin Powers .
I'm not really feeling the Kajhiits or the Argonian though. |

I suppose Minsu could do a pretty good scottish accent for some
charracters. We discussed it some, but since none of us are speak
english as a first language doing too much with accents would mean a
lot more retakes. But I think as we get into it a little more we might
be able to work towards a more scottish/celtic accent, I did?nt see
austin powers. I imagine something like Gimli perhaps?

Yeah that's a pretty good guess, for dialogue claims the words will
probably be spelled in the dialect they are meant to sound like, so for
a scottish accent it might be "Ach laddie, I kinnae see wha' ye want
wih thah ole' cow'o'mine" or something of the sort. |

If you can speak english in a Nordish accent that would be great, but we don't need actual Nordic...

Hello Linky! Welcome to Skyrim for Oblivion, glad to see you're
interested in our project. I'm not sure where a good site to host sound
files would be, try asking Sulan, since he's our soundman. |

Thats probably the best bet until Sulan can recommend a site.

Hmm, have you tried zipping it?

If you did Zip it and it is still to big, either try a smaller file
type (mp3 is good) and/or cutting up the file into pieces and uploading
them seperately.

Hi!! And welcome to Skyrim
I used Filefront, but it?s been down for some time (maybe it?s up again I don?t know) and it was nice.
Otherwise I used a private site...
Hope to hear your sample soon!!

Hello, new to these forums. I saw your project in the CS Wiki and thought I'd offer my talents.
I read the line on the last page; here's a quick sample of Nord:
Nord voice (for some reason the volume is softer in this clip)
and I also took the liberty of voicing the same line in Imperial, Breton, Elven, and Khajiit:
Imperial
Breton
Elven
Khajiit
Any input is appreciated, of course. I didn't exactly rehearse the line, so it's not TERRIFIC, but it's a start.

Hello Bahamut, welcome to Skyrim for Oblivion!
Your Breton, Imperial, and Elf voices sound really good! Try speaking
more in your throat with the Nord voice, it should make it a bit
lower/deeper, and give him a weak accent of some kind if possible
(Norwegian, Swedish, Scottish, German, whatever you're best at). |

Ah, ok. I thought we were just going for the 'lumberjack Nord' in vanilla Oblivion. Let me give it another shot:
