(first of all I have assurances that white witchs do exist, but it is entirley learned guess work that they would be masters of Frost magic)


PC is approached while in a tavern in the wilderness by the hostess, she asks the PC if they will help her in defeating a witch nerby has she has a habit of terrosing her customers, when asked about "Terrorising her Customers" she responds that most of the witchs victims are actually completly frozen then reanimated, there is a couple in the Inn she continues that have seen her and lived, but they are to frightened to leave, if you are intrested in claiming the bounty I have put on her head go talk to one of the customers they know where to find her.

PC goes ands talks to one of the customers they tell vigourisley how they saw their companions being frozen then reanimated telling you how horrible it was to watch and that they barely got away, they then tell you how to find her, and a map marker is added to your map.

When her hideout/lair is approached several reanimated frozen people attack you (downscalled renamed frost atronach), then once they are killed you battle through the rest of her minions (inside the cave) to find her deep inside the hideout/lair, you then battle with her and as proof that you killed her you take "Ice blade of the Monach" back to the Inn keeper (If the sword isn't already in-game), the inn keeper then gives you your reward (350 gold) and the quest is finished.

I think the reward should be higher, but otherwise it sounds like a good quest.

Since Skyrim is aimed at higher level players the reward should be higher, leave it at 350 gold, but have a powerfull weapon of some sort that you get for killing the witch. I think that the frozen minions shouldn't be frost atronachs, we should use normal NPCs, but put some kind of a special shader on them. There could be a reanimate frozen minion spell that you get if you spare the witch or something.

Ice blade of the monach is way better then any reward Wink , and keep in mind that most people in Tamriel aren't that rich Wink

Edit: We could make a script similar to the NPC staue one but instead of a sotne texture we could make an ice one.

Siegfried: you really need to play some more MW before you say 'The Ice Blade of the Monarch' isn't good.

I think getting a spell for sparing her is a really good idea. That should definitly be part of the quest. You won't get the money reward unless you have a high personality and intelligence score and you can convince her to stop too. but you will get the spell, and the sword.

I don't think that the PC would really want to make friends with a White Witch with Heart as cold as Ice, who frezes then reanimates every one she sees Wink

My oringinal idea is fine, nothing needs to be changed.

hmm... I think Ice Blade of the Monarch can go to Skyrim then....
but on Vvardenfell I think we's gonna keep a Flame Blade of the Monarch :D

not make friends (Unless its a evil character) Just get bribed away with a sword and spell.

But there should be multiple ways to do the quest. Even if she's crazy unless she's stupid she'll try to get out of dieing.

If she is selfish she could trick you unless you're character has high intelligence and can see through her trick.

Also do you want a marker pointing towards the Ice Blade or something in the journal entry you recieve after killing her to point the way to it? Or is it pretty clear?

Sieg complained that he didn't find the blade right away the first time. I did make it more obvious in the update, but it would be cool if you could include a marker just in case.

I think it needs a marker.
Also a general rumor around HG should be that "People have been reported going missing around here latley, better keep out of trouble", and once you have finished it should change to "So your the one who destoyed the White Witch reign over terror? Good job!"

Ok not to be a pain, but could that be "well done" or "well done my friend", it just doesn't sound right this way.

Oh and "who ended the White Witch's reign of terror" sounds more correct than "who destroyed the White Witch reign over terror".
