this needs to be here:
Riften Legion Fort: The Legion Fort houses the Bear Legion controls
the nearby pass into Cyrodiil, taxes travelers passing through, and
maintains order in the Riften area. Built in castle style, with some
farmhouses/Corhal structures thrown in for outbuildings. There should
be a barracks, messhall, officer's quarters, trader, census and excise
office, a few guard towers, gate house, a small cathedral to the Nine,
and a few other things if you can justify them.
I don't see the download link, but I assume you used the Castle Tileset
and not the Fort Ruin Tileset, as the Legion Fort is located near
Cyrodiil, and a large ammount of taxes are gathered at the border, so
the Legion should be able to afford to keep the fort in good condition.

Sorry, the link didn't originally show up for me. The fort should be
using the Castle Tileset, the one that all the castles in towns use,
not the dungeon one, not even the unbroken variant. I said in my
initial description that it would use the Castle Tileset, I apologize
if I wasn't clear enough. |

can you atleast have a look at the .esp before you say no, I put a lot
of work into that. Anyway the Int for it uses normal castle.

You need some kind of an exterior image capture program I think, I
don't know how myself, I suggest just setting up a warp door and taking
ingame screens. |

Just resize your render window to full screen and press Print Screen. Then go into an image editing program (like Paint) and press ctrl-V. It will paste in the image of the render window you captured. Then save and upload

Ok, I took a look at your Fort in the CS, and it looked good. However I
am going to ask you to use the Castle Models and Tileset as I
instructed you in the first place. Hold on to the first fort that you
created though, you can use it for some remote wilderness outpost, it
will fit in a lot better there. You can try getting the interior of the
Great Hall into the new Fort using the Castle Models that's fine. End of Argument

for this fort I think we can get away with using this tileset, as it is
closer to the empire and anyway I like how this fort has turned out.

I'd like the name not to have moth in it, as this is not MW.

well.... the Imperials have this cult called the cult of the ancestor moth....
anyhow the Imperial revere moths or certain types of moths...
and so Moth is not just a Morrowind thing... Moth is an Imperial thing
and they name forts with that name for some reason... for example
Buckmoth, Moonmoth, Firemoth....
and then there is Sphinxmoth o the border between Elsweyr and Valenwood

I looked at it and it looks good, I liked what you did with the cemetery
I suggest giving a bit more variety to the tower-type-structures
inside the fort that make up the barracks ect, because otherwise all
your interiors are going to look almost identical. Maybe place the ones
facing the gate lower to the ground, or swap one of the ones on the
side wall out for a different building. That and maybe add some kind of
structure sticking out of the side like in your initial concept, the
Fort could use a stable. The interior that you showed looked like it
would be better off if it had fewer stories, maybe just three, because
a million stories of soldiers are nothing more than something to avoid
for players(particularly with a high bounty) and put a large mess hall
or training room or something at the base of the thing. If you leave
the towers in a big block you should get a custom model that merges the
towers into one, to save polygons and allow them to connect, thus
allowing you to have a large hall-type interior instead of a bunch of
little towers. Here is a map with the changes that I would make if I
had the claim http://s24.photobucket.com/albums/c23/qi...mgAnch=imgAnch1 This is all just a bunch of ideas, but you should probably make some of the changes to add more variety to the Fort.

*There is already a training area.
*The great hall will be underground.

*It used to be less storys I will change it back.

Ok cool, can I see a screen of the stable? BTW I'd still like to have a
custom model that combines the towers, to save polygons, and it will
look better to the player comming into the fort. |

The fort isn't that high in polys, also if u want to see the stable it is in the latest .esp that I uploaded.
Edit 2006.08.07 02:54:
The exterior will be in the heightmap in about two days, then I will add ints and Npcs/pathgrid.
Edit 2006.08.08 01:09:
Greenwood take priority over this, as the exterior location needs a lot
more work done to it. I will however get the exterior done for this in
1 1/2 weeks tops.
Edit 2006.08.15 07:41:
It's now in the Skyrim Height map. I'm starting to detail the
surronding area now. After that I will add Ints, then comes Npcs, after
that it should be ready for Dialouge and scripts/quests. I will upload
the .esp when I've fleshed it out a bit more.

Not wide angles, only ones that would be okay in any land shape.

Vvardenfell is already working with Zarf's set (checkout the Ebonheart
thread), just pm Razorwing or TID or someone to get hold of it. |

Razorwing said that Zarf's set isn't really completed, the stuff used
for Ebonheart is only what he's done so far. There are no interiors and
Razorwing said that Zarf was not planning on finishing the set.
I can get the stuff that IS done and see if we can use it.
