DB Quest

Ok this is me brainstorming a little DB quest. ohh and if its bad I says it because I though about it at 02 am.

First of all I use medic instead of Preist/Mystic/Shaman or whatever it is in the area.

Characters

Just some charcacters needed or who will add to the game and all names can be changed

"Ladia" Imperial
Young, Cute/Sweet Lady who watch her ill father. And who completly ingnore the nord "Hrard" to watch over her father. Thinking she gona look innocent...

"Ticedo Magius" Old Imperial on the bricnk of death
Ladias father lies sick on the bed upstairs(or just in a bed)

"Hrard" Nord
A brute who is damn mad at Ladias father since she ingnores Heddvi to favor to him. The one who gets in DB since if he does it himself Ladia will hate him.
normal nord

"Cocius Fulbar" Imperial
Assain Leader in the area.Kind to low ranks and disiplined to high ranks. He sits allways allone in one side of a inn. Gives contracts..

"Alfhedil" Nord Medic or any race unsept khajiit or argoinan
Harsh old man who take care of sick people in whatever area it will be in.

The Quest

The Quest is to kill "Ticedo Magius" on one of these ways Cool

1. Blunt/Blade just walk in and kill him. this does you not get paid for and "Cocius Fulbar" freaks out if you are high rank.(is a liter milder if low rank)

2. change the medics medisene with poison if unseen "Alfhedil" gets the blame. He also gets exsicuted or jailed.

3. take the medics job with to talk to him since he got a headeac today.
He says weary clearly to use the bottle he gives. You can give the bottle to Lidia and she gets the blame goes to jail/execsecuted. Or you can go right to "Ticedo Magius" and choose either to give him all at onese or slowly
all at onse and he dies instanly.. slowly and he dies slowly. all at ones gives you the blame. slowly and you gota tell "Lydia" that he died a natural death
if not you again gets the blame.

Backstory

Not needed just add to the game:

Rumors of how much "Lydia" ingnores "Hrard" to look after her father. mabye with reply that she should not do that or does it to much. If adding this we should also add "Hrard" topic if hearing someone talk about the rumor.

Five sligtly different rumors about how Ticedo Magius died.

Graves next to each other, Ticedo Magius and his wife again not needed(but thicking they will curse the player when/if he activate their grave.

"Lydia" in jail or execsecuted if player choosed one of those. or the medic for that sake.

Oh and "Hrard" is not needed.

I really like the many choices/consequences for npcs that come with the quest, it adds a little morals to even a DB quest, and overall depth, really.

can you cange it a bit more to be more of a misc quest given by a member of the DB, rather then a mission in a longer questline(there will be no DB questline).

actually you can add that Cocius Fulbar only have one contract since its quite dead for DB in Skyrim

another one. plz share your thoughts on it!

- Cocius Fulbar has another contract. A Tax Collector in the The Pale area needs to be killed. only awhile-able after the witches and bandits in Whiterun area is dead.. defeated.. gone.. atleast bandits.

1. and it can look like bandits.. you can wear a bandit clothing and kill him and the one Whiterun guard who help him.. This will lead to that the Whiterun have a reson to guard the area more and they will try to eradicate all bandits in northern Pale.Gives Bonus will explain soon.

2. Give his horse in the Nimalten City something who does it sick(read crazy) and he(ofc you don't see this) falls of his horse and dies (broken neck)... Whiterun do nothing.

3. Another one could be to pay his guard to kill him (needs 80% dis). pays like 50% of what you get. Whiterun hang/execute the Guard

Back story

The ruler of Whiterun have long wanted more guard presence in the Pale area. yes he wants it to be his!

sould probably be shown in his dialogue. and character.

Krisi-_, since your getting into writing this maybe you and Trees_Are_The_Devil(He was intrested in writing a DB questline) could get together on this and make a very small miny DB questline, with a top of five contracts. On the conditions that player would not advance rank, and could not become"Master of the Skyrim DB". For a goodie though at the end of the questline the PC could "Inherit" a house or something along the lines....

But this shouldn't turn into a big questline, keep it small and precise.

That sounds fine, but make sure there are no more than 5 quests.

BTW there is a DB agent in Riften. He owns an Alchemy Shop, and will give shelter to other DB members. There is a miscellaneous quest from a town guard to help find the guy, but if you're DB you have the option of warning him, and you gain use of his house.

Any chance to have the first quest IN Riften?

The one in your first post? Maybe, its not that big a deal where the DB missions go, so long as they take you around Skyrim.
