Just saw your thread
on the official TES forums, the part about the concept art was of
particular interest to me. I could most likely help out with this, so I
quickly drew up a helm (possibly nordic silver helm) to get some
feedback from you guys.
Regular to the left, winged to the right. Any thoughts?

It looks very nice. Similar to Aun's stuff which you can see in this thread |
Thanks, will check that out. As for the rest of the armor, I should have something by tomorrow (hope it can be of use
). |
Awesome!!

Welcome to Skyrim for Oblivion
Nice helm concept, but I was thinking for wings something more this effect http://www.legionsix.org/wingedffront.jpg (minus the fin and junk on top of the helm
) Also could you try putting in fewer designs, but make them weave and intertwine with eachother more?
The mask gave me an idea: why not make the mask and helm seperate
pieces, and you can put both on at the same time for double protection.
That gives the player freedom with customization, and a nice bonus. |

Exactly.
The armor concept looks very nice though, your style reminds me a bit
of the armors in Fable. I think we could make your armor concept be a
high end set of armor called "Bronze fiber-weave", as it looks to
powerful to be a mid-quality armor like Nordic Silver Armor is.
For the Silver armor I suggest going heavy on the plates and chainmail,
don't give it any fur. For design you can look below; That's kind of
what I was thinking, but the Nordic weapons from Morrowind or the
concept you linked is a better example. Also it should resemble the
silver weapons in Oblvion a little bit.

The problem is less that its fancy and more that it is fantastic. There
is nothing wrong with fantastic, but only high level armors should be
fantastic. Silver armor should be kind of ornate and fancy, but it
should also be something that you can see average Eric the guard
captain wearing, or find a few pieces for sale at the local smith's.
The woodwork on the Bruma buildings is also a good source of
inspiration. |

They are supposed to be made of stone and wood mainly, but yes they are large.

Considering the Thu'um is based on voice and the helmet's emphasis on the mouth, I think it fits, right ? |
Hmm... the link isn't working for me.

They would all fit more or less, but I agree, that's a good helm.
