Looks good
but scratch the cross. The crosses in the screens were there because of
the artistic style they were created in, not because they were crosses.

A little more chain around the arms and legs and I'd say it looks perfect (and removing the cross like Sieg suggested).

Removed cross,
Added more plate mail around arms,
Added some chain mail around legs,
Added thorn design (is that too much??)

Only two remarks:
-There is still a cross in the center of the belt.
-The helmet wings look a bit strange.
Other than that the armor has the right feel.

D'oh, I missed that cross
, the wings looks wrong because I can't draw wings very well
.
I'll update them both if there is anything majorly wrong with it, it is a lot of work otherwise. (I have to rescan and reupload)

No big rush, we don't have anyone to model it at the moment anyway.

More a bit more scary and a bit better antlers. Also try some old and tarnished robes in stead of common clothing.

Looking good LiquidCheese. The clothing of the skele looks to stylish
though, try making it more like what you had in the previous pic, only
tattered and beat up. |

Cool! The armour looks very ornate, I like the forms on the chest-plate in the second version.
The skeleton thingy is cool also, I don?t know how they?re supposed to
look but I agree the clothes on it looks alittle too "civilised"

Motte and bailey style town, was originally going to be dawnstar but it
ended up too small. The scanner didn't pick up much of the detail so it
came out about half as good as it went in but it was only typical motte
and bailey details anyway.

That might fit really well in the south-west regions of Skyrim.

You know what I just realised... We reall need more modelers to get
this stuff in game. Concept art IS good but its not going to finish
this mod.
I'm downloading Autodesk Maya and I'm gonna have a crack at doing some
models tomoro or at least learning how to. What are the standard
dimensions for a tile in oblivion??? 128x128 or is it 256x256 and
multiples of two... |

You can contact Heywood about that as he is making a new tileset for Elsweyr.

This is a lost nord travelling through a mountain pass, stopping to
think about if he is on the right path, and it is incredibly cold. Oh
dear for him, but wait luckily he is wearing the travellers robe, so he
isn't completely frozen.

Make the robe longer and it will look perfect. Another suggestion would
be to make it patched together from different fur pelts, like the hut
you drew. It's up to you though.

Normally I just quickly sketch through my pics, I spend a bit longer on this one, I think it shows too.

The body is disproportioned which makes him look short.
When drawing people you should always start with a Skelletion* which
you then begin to do body mass, outlines. then once you have done that
you can begin to focus on details and features, like facial expession.
*I don't mean a Biological skelleton I mean an artist skellton, which
is used as a base for everything and to show the pose of the person
featured and to get them propotioned properly.

Yea I know my drawing is messed up, art at our school isn't very good
as it is more of a maths and science school so I never really learnt
any of these techniques (we learnt a few techniques for drawing from
perspective, which isn't very useful when you are making something up).
Anyway I need to know all the lengths of the different body parts in
proportion to each other, so I'll have a look for something like this
online next time I do figure drawing.
It was the armour that the drawing was for, any comments on that?

Lol, actually yes
, I'm doing something similar to that right now in technology.
Here is a cottage with one of those cool ass twig roofs. Ignore the background, I started it then got bored and sidetracked.

I like the armor, but better detailing on the lower part (greaves, boots) would help a lot.

They were just meant to be fur retextures, I probably should have mentioned that in the original post.

I also like the cottage, it looks a bit like a lower class long house.

Yea, I think something like that would look good in the country, not
necessarily low class but just a bit rough/farmhousey, but fairly
large. |

Some fur armour mixed with an iron cuirass, and an attempt at figure drawing properly.
