*This quest will be implemented in a later release, don't worry
Smokindan I won't push this one on your already massive work load yet*
Quest begins with Aaberg saying that a Frost Giant has been seen
wandering the Jerals, eating whole bears and making raids on farms
close to the foot hills of the mountains. He says that he will fund
someone who is willing to go on a hunt for the beast. If you agree he
gives you a bow 50 arrows, a sword, other hunting gear and various
potions. The beast is waiting in it's den, around it's nest are various
unfortunate dead victims and prey. At the back of the den is a person
in a simple pen, he looks very poorly. You kill the beast. Once you
have you approach the man who says the beast came to his farm and ate
all of his livestock and then destroyed his house, when he woke up he
was here in this pen looking at very large gruesome beast. He says that
he can make his way back to Haerter's Gap and thanks you, he also says
that he found a magical minotaur horn in the pen, he doesn't know what
it does but he thinks it could be usefull to you.
The horn has a magic spell on it that teleports you instantly to Haerter's Gap.

Good as always. I like the minotaur horn idea.

A few questions about this quest...
*Any luck obtaining the files for the Frost Giant from Cryo?
*Where is the Frost Giant's cave? Is there an existing cave for the
creature to own (if it's not "Hiker's Halfway Cave," I don't see it in
the CS), has someone else already created it, or does this need to be
created also?
*Does the captured farmer NPC need to be generated?
*Is there a burned out/smashed farmhouse nearby? (This would certainly
add a dash of atmosphere to the story, while not being strictly
necessary...)
*Has the magic horn been created yet?
I've got more questions, but perhaps that's a decent start...

*You will have to get the Frost Giant, just Dwnld the Lore Creatures expansion pack and take the files from that.
*The frost Giants cave needs to be made, you can if you want to.
*The farmer needs to be made.
*You can make a smashed/burned farmhouse if you want.
*The magic horn will need to be made(Use the minotaur horn).
*the cave should be closer to Bruma than Cheydinhal, up in the
mountains (don't make it close to Haerter's Gap), same applies for the
house except make it in the foothills below the cave.

Psychotic: what exactly do you mean? Do you mean the order of files,
the location of files, types of files, files about the files, filing
files concerning the files' files...
Or is this a "check the Wiki" question?

I'd say check the wiki, but I'm not sure there's anything there on this.
What I meant is that it looks to me that putting a creature in the CS
is a bit more complicated then any other object. Basically I'm
recommending that you check all of the settings for the Giant (correct
animations and all) on the "Lore Creature Expansion" .esp before you
try to put it in the CS yourself. Actually I'm just babbling out
unnecessary words of caution.

Not unecessary words at all...
In fact, I've just spent the last 20 minutes writing out everything in
the creature's edit window from LCE.esp...hopefully, this won't suck
too bad...

Woohoooo!
Good job!
Though I think it should be bigger as it IS a Giant.

True -- it does have "giant" in the name!
I can make it at least as large as our Frost Monarch, if it's thought
to be appropriate...I'll probably have to copy the Frost Monarch's room
for the new Frost Giant's lair anyway -- few caves will hold him
otherwise.
I'll check him out in game shortly to make sure animations/sounds are working correctly...

Maybe even a little bigger that the Frost monarch.
There are bigger rooms that the one you mentioned though, the room
where the White Witch is located is quite bigger (without the water).
You can always scale up the cave pieces however, but I'm not sure how
that will affect the look of the textures, they might start to suck.

Nice!
I'm afraid I don't know about the custom sounds thing, maybe you could ask whoever worked on that part of LCE?

It souldn't be as big as the Frost Monarch, it should be the same size
as it is in the expansion as they have analised lore to find the
correct size(got it off Karstaag).

Karstaag was quite big as far as I remember.

For the record, that "Sense of Scale" picture I've got linked ~9 posts
ago shows the Frost Giant (default size) next to our Frost Monarch
(default size). In game, the Frost Monarch is actually used at ~70% of
that default size, so the Frost Giant (if left at its default size)
will be inherently larger than the Frost Monarch as far as a player is
concerned...

True, I scaled down the Monarch to make it fit in the cave.
