Haerter's Gap Quest, Sins of a Dunmer. |
![Go to the top of this page Go to the top of this page](components/goup.gif) |
Quest begins when you the Dunmer priestess mentions to you that the
Census officer treats her like dirt, when you futher go into the matter
she says that if you could find a way for her to get fired from her
Haerter's Gap posting that she would give you free Temple services such
as Cure from aliments and blessings from the Tribunal. When you ask how
to get her fired she says that a while ago she overheard her talking to
Moldstalt(sp) about something concearning an item that was of some
value that a Traveler had left here awhile ago when he came to the Gap.
A few days after they had talked the item was gone. She thinks that
would be a good place to start. When asked who the traveler is she says
that it was a breton who went Cheydinhal.
The next phase in the quest is talking to the breton. When you get to
the Inn you find him and he says he passed through the Gap a few weeks
ago and that he had left a Dwemer claymore there for him to pick up on
the way back, he explains it had been worn by his father and his father
before him and so forth.
Once this has been done your next step is to go to Moldstalt and ask if
he has any Dwarven Claymores in stock, when asked he says he does. When
you look at the blade it obviously belongs to the Breton as it has his
family name carved into it. When you question Moldstalt about where he
got the blade he says he cannot remember, when you say you know how he
got the blade he says that he is so sorry and that he only brought it
off the Dunmer census Officer because it was so cheap and that he had
not had such good stock for so long.
Now that you know all of this Infomation, you go now to confront the
Dunmer Census officer. When you do she says that she only did it for
abit of money on the side, and that if you do not report it she will
give you all the money she got for the blade and abit extra plus.
A)You say that you will not tell.
B)You say that she has commited a crime and you are bound by rightiousness to tell the truth.
C)You say you will not tell(Lie).
A)You get the money and the quest is finished. When you go back to the
priestess you tell her that she was not guilty of any crime.
B)You go back to the priestess who says that she knew that the officer
was up to something and thanks you and says that she will send a letter
to her ranking officer. A few days later the old census officer is
thrown in the jail and a new one replaces her, you give the new officer
the blade to keep safe until the breton come to claim it. The quest is
then finished with you taking a lump some payment from the new MW
officer and free temple services.
C)Exactly the same as B, but you also get the money from the old MW officer.
I am hoping it's to everyone's enjoyment

Have you started making this quest Smoky? A retex of the Dwemer
longsword is going to have to be made with the name engaved into it.

Nope...I've still got Besieged By Bears to finish (half done) and
Markers What Markers? to start. I don't have much time on my hands this
weekend as I'm snowed under with school work but I'll try to get those
two done and start on this one.
Psych's just uploading the main .esp in the HG Int. thread so I'll grab it from there.

I think this one would work very nice as it involves more than 2 Npcs
and is resonably long, also it has a lot of depth for the PC to take
in. Psychotic to you think you could do a quick retex of the Dwemer
Claymore with the surname of "Crowtch". Also Smoky when you make this
quest make sure to make the Breton have the same last name.

Thomas Crowtch.
A retex of the Dwarven claymore still needs to be made, with the last name of "Crowtch" etched into it.
