Prometheus posted on our ESF thread and that reminded me of the work he did for us.
I was wondering if anyone still has his models on their HDD as they
seem to have disappeared somewhere on this forum a long time ago. Sieg?
Well in anyone still has them please upload them somewhere and post a
link to them in this thread. I want to see which of them are ready to
use and which need finishing up.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Prometheus?s Models??? |

I deleted them a while ago, since I couldn't really do anything with
them as they were just max scenes, and me not having max. I would try
contacting Razorwing, as he likes to hoard max scenes. If that doesn't
work try contacting Corwyn, as I had him do some work on them a while
ago trying to split them up into a tileset. That brings me to another
important point, Corwyn said they overused polygons, everything was
welded together, and not everything was symmetric, making it very
difficult for him to divide them into a tileset. He said it would
likely be easier to create a replica tileset from scratch. However I
would still like to use the models as they are with any necessary
tweaks, and create the replica tileset as well, using the tileset
similar to the way Velothi Architecture was used in Morrowind, for
homes, dungeons, and cities. |

I have max, but I can't do anything to "fix" them. I'll PM Razorwing,
if he has them I'll see what can be used as it is and what needs
tweaking.
A very talented modeler offered to help us out recently when I chatted
with him on ESF, if he would like to take a look at the models he could
provide us with a more detailed review of them.

The models are what we really need as they are examples of fine pieces of work.
Edit 2006.10.14 18:18:
I got the models from Razorwing, but when I tried to open them in 3d
max I got errors beyond my comprehension. I will leave this the way it
is until some noble soul decides to take a look at them.
If there are any candidates please say so.
Here is the link to the models:
