In the heart of Eastmarch, near Vernim Wood lies the Shrine to Herma-Mora, known to the Locals as "The Woodland Man".

The locals constantly pray to The Woodland Man, before they chop-down a tree in his domain, or if they are about to carve a log that was from his region. If a person does not pray to him, bad things happen, storms brew, the ground shakes and bad omens fall upon the person, and because of this the locals are careful not to anger their master.

Recently a man has begun to paint impressions of the Woodland Man, and even though they are done with such skill and precision the painter does not first pray to The Woodland Man for his blessing before he paints, and therefore it has made Herma-Mora mad. Herma-Mora wants you to go forth and do his bidding by persuading the Painter to pledge all of his paintings to him, and any one he makes thereafter. If he refuses to he aks that you make bad things happen to him until he does.

When you arive at the painters house it is littered with Paintings of The Woodland Man. You talk to the Painter asking why he doesn't pray to The Woodland Man, he says that he doesn't because he only thinks that The Woodland Man is symbolic to the people of the land, and not a diety that he should pray to, though he respects the native people's Culture.

*You now must make bad things happen to finish the quest, killing the painter results in the finishing of the Quest but without any rewards*

You must do three bad things to the person to change his attitude, these things include:

*Defacing a painting.

*Swaping paint with differnt colours.

*Steal precious things (e.g. a family amulet).

*Go to village shaman to cast a spell on him (special one).

*Incriminate the painter by framing him for smoking Skoma(plat some inhis house then alert guards).

*Anything else you guyz can suggest.

When you do convince him he goes to the Shrine and starts painting there, he returns home late at night and goes back to the shrine early in the Morning. As a reward Herma-Mora gives you "Helm of the Carving-Blade" which is a wooden helm (A retexture I have already made) that boosts Blade Skill by 35 and a weakness to fire by 15.

You must be at least level 20 to start the quest.

If it is going to have that blade skill boost I think it should have very low armour rating, like 5 or something (besides it is only wood).

I like the quest a lot.

Maybe an added thing that you have to do to get the reward could be for you to use a spell (given at the start) inside his house that causes lots of small trees to start growing, just as a sign to everyone that it was the woodland man that did this.

Other ideas:

*stealing all his paint brushes and then buying all the local shops paintbrushes, so he can't paint anymore.

*Replacing all his sentimental paintings (Painting of family members/paintings he has done unrelated to Herma-Mora), that are hung around the house, with either really crude paintings (the sort a child would do) or really sinister paintings.
