Texture claims: A sign and a special ale. |
|
This is for dragon wood.
*I need a sign that says 'The Dragon's Den' (was originally the Drunken
Dragon Inn but got changed because it already appeared in the game),
you can put an image on it if you like, or just writing, I don't mind.
Feel free to make the design however you would like. I would prefer an
old wood carving style sign but it is up to whoever makes it (this is
for an inn btw, not for an actual dragons den).
*I need an ale/beer retexture, for some 'Dragonfire Ale'. This is an
incredibly hot beer, which is only made in Dragon Wood. Make the design
however you like, again, this could simply be writing if you wish.
*Anything else dragon themed, you are welcome to make too

Hmm maybe I'm mistaken, but the name sounds so familiar =/

I hope not, I just made it up. If someone can confirm this, then I'll change it.

I'm sorry it exists, quote from some website:
Wayshrine Locations
Popular god of the Nine Divines. In Cyrodiil, she has nearly a dozen
different cults, some devoted to women, some to artists and aesthetics,
and others to erotic instruction.
1. Just southeast of the Imperial City, on the Red Ring Road, east of Fort Virtue
2. Well northeast of Leyawiin, east of the Yellow Road and southeast of the Drunken Dragon Inn
3. South of Chorrol and just northeast of Fort Carmala
I found tha inn on my map, its close to atatar and the haunted mine.

Damn, thanks for finding this, before someone made it. How about 'The
Dragons Den Inn' Or just 'The Dragons Den' Or maybe the "The Dragons
Treasure'. Hmm not as good. I'll take some suggestions for this then. |

nah, the problem was I loaded it as a static instead of an activator
.
I tried playing around with dragons eating/drinking etc, but it always
seems too cartoonish. I might try using a celtic knotwork dragon like
the one below:

Is this ok? I did the lettering in Daedric script, like on most of the
signs in Morrowind but I can change that to English if you want.

I'm pretty sure most of the signs and many tapestries in Morrowind used
Daedric script, I was slightly disappointed Bethesda just used plain
English on the signs in Oblivion.
And yes that is anvil, just next to the fighters guild

Wow, thanks a lot. That looks great. I don't mind about the daedric
unless one of the leaders does. That is very cool, thanks a lot. |

The sign looks great indeed.
Though the reason the Daedric alphabet was used in Morrowind is because it's the native alphabet of the Dunmer.
If you want to use something other than plain English (Cyrodiilic) I
suggest using the Runic alphabet in my attachment as that is the agreed
upon Runic alphabet for use in Skyrim. The runes are Germanic in origin
so they do not contain the letters "Q" and "X" as they are typical
Roman (Latin) characters.
As the runes are the native Nord alphabet use them in any signs you feel need them, though most signs should be in Cyrodiilic.
Edit 2006.12.03 00:45:
This is not that important, but I was just wondering if anyone
(especially Alasdair) noticed the cool font I posted in the above post.

That is because that is the writing used by the dunmer and the normal english is used by Cyrodiil.
EDIT: Oh didn't notice you said that. |
Yes, I mentioned that:

Thanks for the update Alasdair!
