I was thinking recently a great way to gain attention for Skyrim, fill our library up a bit more, and get the generaly mod community involved would be to post on Role-Play/Story Forums and offer story-tellers who have posted stories about Nords/Skyrim the oppurtunity to have their stories included in Skyrim. I know the stories might not always agree with established lore, and our lore for that matter, but I'm sure we can work things out. Plus they don't have to be totally lore accurate, as they are only books, in real world if people write something it does not instantly become fact, so why in Nirn are the laws of physics so radically different.

Most importantly though it would be a great way to get new people involved with the project, and would give us a reputation as a very open and fun mod team.

You can make the thread if you like... I suggest including links to the books we already have in our library so people can see what direction we're going in and maybe draw a bit of inspiration from those fine works.

How's this for the post:

Calling all story tellers!

Have you written a story chronicling adventures through Skyrim/of a Nord anywhere? If so, we offer you a chance to immortalize your story by having it included as an ingame book with the mod Skyrim for Oblivion. You will of course be given credit in the readme of the mod.

The story doesn't have to be perfectly lore accurate, remember not everything you read is true:D It has to be within reason though, no Legolas/Chuck Norris kameos or lightsabers Wink

We need to come up with something about us being able to pick and choose works, drop ones we don't like and stuff. Anybody got any suggestions for the wording?
