The thread where progress on LC10 will go. Nothing here yet because I'm currently doing Vernim Wood's packages, but that'll be done soon so this thing will only take a day. I'm thinking of naming this dude (who is a drunken Nord, according to claims post) Pjrvald the Pissant.

Ok starting this now. What format should the cell name follow? And I can't find a matching door...

Scale a square bruma door up slightly for the door and the cells should just follow the format 1SKxx*Modders Abbreviation*x*CellName*.

The j in Pjrvald has a vowel sound, like the j in fjord. And someone take a look at the attached jpg :alert: , something is seriously wrong with the walls. I don't know anything about texturing, but are they meant to have glow maps like that or whatever it is? It seems awfully well varnished wood Eek 1

Other than that, I'm finished. Just got to make the NPC. Took me about half an hour.

EDIT: here's the finished product

I edited above post adding finished product. Dunno what door you mean though, you'd have to name it specifically. I couldn't find a good Bruma door. But thanks, not bad for half an hour's work ay? :D

Just had a look around it and it looks excellent Dancing Banana

However normally I try to avoid having too many overlapping light sources and would use a larger amount of ambient lighting (Lighting is of course a personal choice for each modder). Also be sure to set the cells owner NPC, else the player will be able to take everything. Thirdly make sure you check for floating objects and be really careful when using havok to place objects (as it causes them to float).

The brandy in the rafters is a nice touch Wink

The reason I 'Havok' items is so that when the player or anyone else touches them ingame, they don't do their floating then. It looks much worse (IMO) if this happens than having them already floating. Sort of the lesser of two evils.

EDIT: most recent attachment now in combined thread.
