Solstheim Quest, Geilir the Mumbling |
|
Note: This is the person who fortold the comming of the Oblvion gates
opening, and was present in two quests in Bloodmoon. This quest needs
both a Tablet mesh and broken pieces of he tablet mesh (Equivilent to
how many tombs there are on Solstheim).
Location: Geilir the Mumbling's Dwelling and all Solstheim Burial Tombs.
The quest begins when you talk to Geilir the Mumbling, he says that
Oddfrid White-Lip said to him that a tablet was stolen from him by
Riekings, then broken and spread throughout the Burial Tombs of
Solstheim. He says that the Tablet described the patterns of the moon
and the weather, making him able to predict the future. He asks for you
to get back all of the pieces, and if you do he will tell you your
future.
You go now to find all of the pieces (It may that you awhile because
some Tombs will only be accessible during the MQ(s) and other misc
quests).
Once you have the pieces you return them to him, for each one you
return he gives you a potion of *name*. When he has all of them he
thanks you and begins to tell you your future. He says that your future
is clouded, but he can see you will one day find yourself in the halls
of Shor, drinking mead and wrestling for eternity.
End.

I like it.
But how about VERY rare magical herbs instead of potions for the tablet pieces? |
Because he is a crazy fortune teller not a Alchemist, and also it would
be to similar to the Nirnroot quest if it was rare magical herbs.
However it is still the same type of quest where the PC has to explore
to finish the quest.

That's not what I meant... the herbs will be the REWARD, not the items
you need to collect. I think getting potions as a reward is too similar
to the Nirn root quest.

The final reward is getting your fortune told. And I guess your right about the potions, prehaps wolf pelts then.
