Model:
I'm learning to model with 3d max (just started yesterday) and I made this pitiful looking crannog.
I think it can be used in the costal villages of Northshore as a LC
residence. It's obviously not finished though, textures still need to
be made and applied (and I'm a long way from learning how to UV map
), and of course it will need to be properly exported... oh and the entrance will also be fixed up a bit.

Not the words I'd use to describe it, but it's very nice nonetheless.
Maybe make the poles a bit less straight and regular?

I don't think Entartet ever uploaded it anywhere... not sure though.

I don't know if there is an area/town/place in HR called North Shore, but there definitely is a Hold in Skyrim named Northshore.
It's on the northern coast of Skyrim between Solitude and Winterhold.

A small update:
The model itself is pretty much done. I changed a few things like the
support pillars (added more, but made them thinner) and also made all
the wooden logs/poles/pillars irregular like real wood is.
Once I get this textured and exported I'll make a few more variations,
like crannog's (platforms) that have several huts on them. I can also
make all the platforms as separate models from the huts so they can be
combined at will.
Ok then, back to work!
Psychotic has attached these images (downsized versions):

Nice to see you too!!!
I?ve gotten bored with Medieval 2 Total War now, but there is no such
thing as getting bored with a TES game - there are only pauses from TES
games
And with playing comes the motivation for involving one self with Skyrim again!
Cool to see you?re modeling now Psych!! And it looks great, I like the
slightly curved/irregular shapes of the roof - looks very authentic
even now without texture. Looks awesome!!! (I can?t do the smilies with
this mac, but if I could I?d do the thumbs up).
Perhaps the wooden stands and the other logs on [insert correct word
here] could be alittle bit more "irregular" and less alligned, but then
again perhaps things should?nt be too irregular and bent and stuff..
The nords are supposed to be very good working with wood right? So
they?d probably axe the log straight and nail it up straight...
In any case it looks great allready!! Awesome work!!!

Thanks Sulan!
I did try making the logs a bit more irregular, but it made the whole structure seem unstable so I settled for this.
