Hi Guys, sure some of you have seen me elswhere on this forum, click my
username then click search in my profile for all my posts, or click >>HERE<< for one of my main threads with some professional drawings and some concepts for TES.
Already working on Silgrad Tower, The Elsweyr Confederacy, Black Marshes and Valenwood and thought Skyrim may benefit too.
I am happy to design...
- ice caverns
- igloo style buildings
- frozen ruins
- creatures
- snow-specific flora
- clutter
- anything else you require

thanks Senten!
I think maybe a white lion would look good in Skyrim (Edited mountain
lion), definitely different and could have white lion pelts too. A
white tiger would look better with those chocolate brown stripes and a
little mane but dont know if you could model that.
Also I feel we are missing a yeti!
Ice palace, ice caves etc would look great.
Ans is there a way to script a slippery surface? so you could slip down an ice tunnel leading to an underground area?

Sorry for not responding sooner, RL sucks atm. We currently have a
rather nice icy cave retexture, and some white animals (not sure about
a lion though). Waalx on the official forums is making an omgwtf huge
creature expansion pack which has every creature we could ever possibly
want, so hopefully he'll let us use his resources when he's done. I
think you noticed my request for some flora concept art in another
thread. Basically what I'm looking for is some unique mushroom designs,
as well as other cold-climate plants - think like ferns, thistles, n'
other stuff you might find in coniferous forests. If I could be anymore
specific I would, except if I knew exactly what I wanted I probably
would have modeled it already.

We have snow trolls, which are somwhat like yetis.

What about moving it up a notch and having some kind of crystalline mushroom for caves? just to be different?
I know of a few snow plants and different extreame cold species so will TESarise a few drawings up!

Is the OP also a modeller? I know Alasdair you can model things but
you're busy, and I can model also but I'm busy with, ironically,
modelling things for tech. I could try and incorporate some things into
my projects or vice versa but nothing I'm currently doing is really
conductive to a Skyrim environment: one project is about space Nazis
(don't ask) and isn't all 3D anyway as the characters will be Flash
animations, and the other project is set in the Middle East. The first
one though is still only in planning as it's due in at the end of the
year, so I'll see what I can incorporate. This thread has given me some
ideas lol, as I think my space Nazis will crash on an ice planet:
* a lindworm. I could do a lindworm, I have an idea how to fit it into
my project. It's going to be more of a reptilian worm than a dragon
though.
* some sort of ice dwellings, as the aliens my Nazis encounter will
need somewhere to live, and coincidentally would serve as great home
for Skyrim's...um...we don't have Eskimoes but I'm sure someone will
think of some suitable inhabitants. Something a bit special I'm
thinking, perhaps Nords who live by the sea on the icefloes (do we have
icefloes?) and hunt fish with spears. Like Eskimoes, except Nords.

I like the crystalline fungi/bridal thing and the last plant, the
mushrooms might be better if they weren't so garish. Anyway I just
finished the damn piece of coursework that has consumed my life for the
past few weeks, so I can start modeling this stuff.

We have approximately zero. Those are one of the things we need most right now.
