I don't know. Azura's realm is supposed to be a beautiful place. If we
have one good half and one scary half, it's starting to sound like the
Shivering Isles. How about I make similar trees to the dawn ones, only
shorter, wider, and red-ish orange colored? I could make them a
different style though if you want. The Dawn trees were made by
tweaking a Mania tree, maybe I could tweak a tree from Camoran's
Paradise and see how that works out.
Hmmm, maybe it is alpha. The trees come with an alpha setting in their
branch/trunk geometry, because when I put a leaf texture on there to
see what it would look like, it definately had alpha. Maybe I should
save the bark texture with alpha.
One issue I had was I loaded the same tree into the CS twice, and they
were different shapes for some reason. I'll look into it more later.

To me that still has a sense of beauty, and looks preety nice. Could you atlast make a few tests of it before you turn it down?

I'm not gonna turn it down. I'll run a few tests soon.

I'm still trying to figure out the blackness issue with the Dawn Trees,
but I thought I'd get started a bit on the Dusk trees. I saw TOYB's
concept for them, but I thought I'd start with how I think they'd look.

Wait, so are we just switching the textures, or are we really going to have blue trees at dusk?

I don't know. Dusk and Dawn aren't day and night. They're sunrise and
sunset. Sunrises are usually kinda bluish to me, the light blue sky
still dyed from night but beginning to be illuminated by the sun, a
foggy haze often times with it, and the same chill from night
temperatures. Dusk is red and firey, the orange and red sky burns in
the distance as night stretches around, shadows grow, and although a
bit chilly the sunlight is still just as warm where it reaches. That's
how I always imagined it. I just think if we make Dusk gloomy that's
imitating SI just a bit too much.

And also Azura's realm is described as being completely beautiful. If
we make one part look ugly, that's kinda lorebreaking.
And I knew that dawn was the rising sun and dusk is the setting sun. It
just doesn't make sense why dusk would be blue nad dawn be red.
Actually now that I look at it Dawn seems more golden than blue in most
places. They can both actually be pretty golden. Here are a few
pictures below.
The first one is Dawn, the second picture is Dusk
