Well here is my attempt at Imga Heavy Armour.
quote: |
Imga Heavy Armor
-Some of the 'savage' Imga had learned from orcs how to make metal
armors. So however rare these may be, the Imga Heavy armour is well
made. It is based on light armour but is heavy, being made of iron and
furs.
|
Its more or less a mix of Orcish with and iron cuirass and the arms and
under the cuirass is made of fur. Oh and the pauldrons are a lot larger
and have those spikes because I can't see a 'savage' wearing pansy
little pauldrons like the default iron.
Imga Heavy Armour

Nice, I like it. Will you be making boots/greaves/healmets? I like the pauldrons btw. Intimidating.

Hmm...well the part that covers the arms should just be fur, the
cuirass maybe a worn faded metal. I'm thinking dark leather or fur for
the belt and a very dark blackish type worn metal for the pauldrons.
Well thats the general look I could come up with
and heres my awesome diagram to identify the parts if you need to.

Couldn't get my nifskope working...oh well.
.max format
.nif format
Shouldn't be any problems ingame anyway since its the same size as any other armour.

I feel we should do the Imga before their armor.. just like it looks like something they would have used...

I wonder if we could add hair and fur to an altmer mesh? I think the
imga would have the same pose as them because they try to imitate them
so much.

some Imga.. could that fit to.. but others might be more wildlife
apes.. (the ones collecting Kollopi, is a example) and it would recuire
new mesh I think. just using Altmer Animations

O, I guess it is time I show what i've been doing lately. I've been
trying to make some armour, and this is what I have come up with so far:
Curiass
I only need to give it a more realistic shape, and make some pauldrons, and then the model will be finished
...so what do you guys think?

That armor is shaping up nicely. What kind of texture are you planning for it?

Yep, the basis looks great..... but I still think it looks like clothing that you can wear in Ob.
