More inland though... More jungle southward, and eastward more medium trees slowly growing more frequent inland.

Maybe the tree house will not do. As I think you should have a living
tree plus as you say you would have to redo the added on bits anyhows.
As for the speedcad question, I wonder what its limitations are? Does
it prefer one kind of structure over another, etc? and so how would it
work in a tropical or sub-tropical jungle rather than the Cyrodillian
temperate lands?
Suggest someone experiment first!

I have seen mods with tropical plants, and I say marble trade from

marble, its pretty.

I agree with marble, another Natural resource they have is Tree-sap. So
that leads to a lot of other things rather than just houses. Marble,
Tree-sap, and ofcourse imported wood. The Bosmer don't mind using
imported wood (
).

It would be really cool if there were falling leaves throughout the
whole jungle but to eliminate FPS drops it would have to be like the
snow and just play ontop of everything else.

Perhaps have that a storm effect? When things get windy and stormy the leaves start to fall.

Hmm I think it's cool to use the Valenwood teams, at least some for the guards.
And if were really cool, we add an arena compitition
Anyway, for real, I hope we can add at least one arena to Valenwood,
and not battling other guys, but random creatures, leveled
I think it would be a great way to make some money, I really missed
that in the Arena in Cyrodill. I could only battle monster after I was
champion, it seems weird to me. Other idea is battling other humanoids,
but not getting paid, but allowed to loot the bodies?

I've seen that, and each major city in Valenwood will have an Arena.
That will be our Arena questline, going through each city an battling
fierce opponents until you and your team (recruitment) become the best.
After that we set up scripts that let other teams challenge your team.

They seem a bit out of place,. at least in southern VW.

In DitF there are horses in that area, I don't think we should worry to much on it.

Not really, nobody believe they can beat you... and Cyrodiil's have to
high moral to force people.. thus you can just fight the creatures who
is captured to be on you show..

I think the Bosmer love the arena but wouldn't really fight a lot
themself. Bosmer are quite savage but the Green pact forces them to eat
every enemy they kill. Only family can help. So killing a lot in the
arena isn't that good for your fysique
So I imaging a lot of captured/enslaved Khajiit, Igma and perhaps Orcs?
Doubt you find Altmer there and other races are even more rare.

You know only the family of the 'killer' may also eat the body?
But yeah this would be an awesome culture ^^

I've just perused through here, but what is this talk of marble? I
don't see Bosmer, who aren't masons much, using marble.
I do see them manipulating the growth of plants into homes, though.

"Perched on the edge of the great Elden Grove, Silvenar is a city-state
of breath taking beauty. Tall minarets and spires worked out of marble
rise out of the forest. Silvenar is home to the Rangers, a young team
which has done well so far in the Arena..."
Some very old Arena lore. Don't know if we should use it or not.
There's also the option that Silvenar wasn't built by Bosmer, but by
the other inhabitants that Valenwood had at some points through history
(Camoran era?).

I indeed suspect it's build by Aldmer.

I thought Silvenar was of unknown origin, as if sap from a plant had
enveloped previous structure? Did I dream that? I hope not, its pretty
sad when your dreaming about the mod I have to say

No you are right about the tree sap, and the previous structures being
enveloped by it. You are unfortunately right about the last part aswell

Maybe the Arena section of the city is marble?
I honestly don't trust Arena Lore, as it was before even the
introduction of the Nine and the Daedra. Lore was very very simplistic
back then, and most of it forgettable.

So what do you think the structures were made of before they were
covered in Sap? probably something found commonly in Valenwood.

Some kind of stone, probably.
And FC4 is right, best to stick to more recent lore if possible.

But that brings us back to the "Bosmer are not masons" point. If it's
stone why not the most white and shiny of all, marble.

Because how easy is marble to work with? Not easy.
Likely, the clay from the river was taken and used to make homes and
buildings, but certain special sections like the palace and arena
perhaps were fashioned over long periods of time with marble.
