But if you are better with PS it's fine with me

I like it, but is it possible to make handle's mesh little like actuall
leather wrapping around it? If it won't mess up poly count too much.
Your crossguards all look alike, lol.

I agree the camoran swords should be similar in ways like the
crossguard. Each has a tree simbol, as the Camoran simbol, but each
sword has a different marking perhaps to say what the sword is?

Note that it is very thin until it gets to the point, where it is wide
and sharp. I havent found that option yet, but from what I can
understand a .dds is made out of several maps, am I correct?

It looks good, just make blade more detailed and stuff. I mean shape it like it's in concept.
I really like it now, as a matter a fact.

Psycotic, what kind of error do you get?
And flesh, i'm not really shure what you mean with many maps. A texture
usually consists of a colour map, the one that determains what the
colours and texture is like. And a normal map( the dds file with an _n
behind the name, not the file name eks: silvershortsword_n.dds) which
determains how the light is reflected to give the sword more detail and
to create dents and bumps that isn't modeled, it is because of the
normal map my engravings really looks like they are engraved.
Allso you can have a glow map, which I have never used.

I have version 5.5 of Photoshop and the error says that I need v4.0 or higher to run the plug-in, doesn't make any sense.

You determine the shinyness in the alpha channel of your _n map, if
your'e using photoshop just make a copy of your colour map and paste it
into the aplha channel of your _n map, and darken the parts you don't
want to be shiny, like wood for example. To darken a area just mark it
and go to image-->adjustments-->brightness/contrast
oh and arbiter, i'm sorry but I just can't manage to make those "dents" in the blade, i've been trying for some time now
Anyways(i've been saying that allot lately) here's a screenie of the sword now
Shortsword
Personally I think the beauty and deadlyness lies in its simplisity

Don't cry Arbiter. I'm not really shure I want to change anything on it
now. Not after I widened the top and smothed it out a little. It looks
like the kind of weapon I would have chose to useif I ever needed one,
which is a little disturbing since it says in the weapons description
that it was made for women
Anyway heres a pic:
Shortsword
I chose not to make a render since the full beauty of the sword didn't show then

I made it elegant for women to wield.
Well it does kinda reminds of the saber. It's good, but can you do
something to do the blade to make it little different and elegant?

Blade changes. You know, thinner at one part, sleak and elegant,.. use your imagination.

hehe thanks I need it
Allso I made the blade a lot thinner(so that it looks like a stabbing
sword and not some ?ber macho broadsword) and gave it a more inward
curve towards the middle, and i'm really pleased with the results, it
looks much more sleek and elegant now.
Shortsword, now sleek and elegant
Please say you like it now, I reaaly do so myself and don't really want to change anything.
But if you really think I should change something, please say so and i'll just save this one for future use

I guess I can get blender. I know some basic stuff in it, as basic as make a cube and a ball.

Ok, I was kinda thinking about sending you the model so you can see it
that way. It is easier to see the curves and stuff in blender(much
easier then on a screenshot) but we can do that tomorrow since I am
going to bed soon

I was just gonna say the same thing.
There's this fuss on TES forums about custom asnimations so it's pretty interesting there.
