I've been finishing up the tileset and I have a small, stupid, question. Where and what will the entrance to these flower house things look like? I need to get afew different ways to enter these for like when its rooted in the ground, hanging from a vine or when it's got several stories.

All suggestions are welcome, oh and the reason I didn't just do whatever I wanted is because I want everyones input first on the count of I hate redoing stuff.

That sounds great. Ok, ramps, bridges, stairs, winding stairs. Have a couple of variants for these houses.

Alright i'll post here as I do them. Just one request though, could someone please tell me the poly count of a standard house? I haven't played Obliv for ages now so didn't keep the BSA files or anything else for it.

EDIT: This is the size of the house at the moment.

Looking good. I know that Beth's church model is 30k pollies. I tried to find out how many a Cheydinhal house is but I do not know how to check.

Ok thanks Flesh, I had waaay to many polies for a single house but I found out where they were coming from so it's fine now.

Anyway, these are some of the tileset parts i've done so far. If you don't like it tell me what needs changing and i'll get right on it.

Bridge
Rooted Ramp (The ramp is kinda boring at the moment, especially when you look at it without a texture.)
Hanging

No problem. Bridge looks good. Ramp, it just looks way to artificial, get rid of the squareness, make more round, or just straight down. Hanging thing looks good, make sure to make the ramp, bridge, and hanging vine all separate pieces. Good job so far Good job!

One question, what happened to the house in the ramp picture? Particularly the lower part, it is all twisted.

EDIT: Also if possible make a smaller version of the bridge.

Alright np i'll change the ramp around, I had it going straight down to start with but it was either to steep or insanely long. And everything is seperate, I stopped attaching stuff.

Also i'll halve the size of the bridge if you want a smaller one, and as for the house in the ramp pic I changed the base to a giant twisted vine/root, I can change it back if you want I was just playing around.

Have to do it all tomorrow though i'm going to bed soon.

Oh are you gonna have some fun UV mapping these! :D

The all look great, but I agree about the ramp. You could make it something like the Telvanni "ramps" if you remember how they looked. They were like long twisted branches with a flat path carved into them going in an upwards spiral.

This is what is worring me right now. You made all the other tile-set pieces separate aswell right? Meaning the roof, the bottom floor, and the bottom root part of the house. Because those all need to be spearate aswell.

The vine root looks unfinished, so I say stick with what you had before. Although if you have imrpovements for it, go ahead and do them :) Just remember to keep the old copy aswell.

Sleep well =) ,

That's a cool idea Psychotic i'll try and do something like that, i'll just edit this post when I finish with more stuff.

And yes Flesh EVERY piece for every tileset is seperate, each petal, the floor, each bit of leafy stuff, the base, the canvas around it, the small vines, the roots inside the house (although you can't see them so I might just remove 'em), the hanging vine and the bridge.

Hopefully that clears it up for you Wink .
