I like the ideas so far, especially the one about the boat. Though, I'm not big on the Oblivion plane thing.
I had an idea, what if there was a crazed mage, kinda like the one from
the quest of Aleswell, but this mage is doing it on purpose. We could
add a mage that is sending Spriggans into a small village, and
destroying all their crops. The mage is doing this because he wants all
the money of the town, or women (maybe both)
. So the player will have to go, and of course, stop him. I was
thinking that the mage could be hiding in a treehouse, or some kind of
empty tree that the mage lives in. His lair could be kinda diverse and
complicated to navigate through.
I have another idea, but I'll see how you guys respond to this one.
****Are you going to add the Spriggan effect that Morrowind had?

eh I just got a stupid idea.....non ever knew where legolas and gimli
left after the lotr saga so I got this weird idea of finding those 2
from some harbor city.Cos they've eaten some plant that made them lose
their memory theyll not know they once were great heros and the player
needs to help them gain their might and skillz back. Another 1 legolsas
and gimli lost their magical equipment and the player has to help
them........just some stupid ideas and a bit of the Tamriel lore stuff
but anyways

Subject: a question
haha, better than Black Marsh, I got one occasional forum-goer aside from me...
I have an idea as to how we can help each other... in a way
you know the Telvanni Dunmer like to hire Bosmeri archers and other
mercenaries right? Well, perhaps there is a small port town around the
southeastern shoreline of Valenwood where there's a lot of hireling
activity, mostly sponsored by Telvanni. It can be a lot of simply
shacks, a few piers, a lot of weaponry, armor, and training places....
and the 'guards' are Telvanni, sent over by the Great House to help
oversee the conscription of the Bosmeri mercenaries...
I mean Bosmer don't ALL adhere to the Green Pact, obviously those who
leave Valenwood for riches and adventure aren't exactly the clannish
Bosmeri tribesmen of the forests but those who have left or been
exiled... so maybe there's a little mercenary port where Bosmeri who
want to become mercenaries for Telvanni flock to.
so having explained why it is a good idea lore-wise...
this is also good because simple docks, shacks, and Telvanni bonemold
and cephalopod helm are all already modeled or in vanilla Oblivion.
It's just a simple town, not big at all, with a few Telvanni and Bosmer
hirelings awaiting the next ship to Morrowind. the boat is up to you.
You can use the ships in Cyrodiil or can wait till a Dunmeri vessel is
modeled...
good idea? at least more can get started that way

Hmmm... What about those ones for the forest? Also what would this look
like? Just shacks and wooden homes? This I could do, I could retex with
default obliv ones, like say mix some chorrol meshes and then apply
bravil textures, an easy/effective solution, it looks awesome when
done. Or perhaps use the default bravil and the default shack model,
possibly the one used in Silgrad?

Now we get the biggest challange of VW. Bosmer don't use wood and stone for their houses
Take a look at the architecture thread.
