Good to have you back. One of the reasons I could run it properly was because I too had uni to manage...
Anyway hope to see you again for the next 2 weeks.

Is there an actual threat to warrant the walls? Because historicaly,
intense fortification doesn't come about until proven needed elswhere.

Well of course you got raiders, which are Bosmer, then the ignorant
folks thin k they raided by Bosmer instead of bandits so they're
scared. Further those Igam look scary

I like the idea a lot. Our main aim now is to position them on a map
with cells and regions. After new heightmap for cells
. You started the region map mormacil yet? Not a hurry but I would like to see it.
OBmon its looks good and will be useful when someone comes to model it. When the time comes I probably do the retexure.

Looks great OblivionMon, sorry mormacil, I like yours, but I think its a little small.
Hey windsurfer, why don't you write up a tutorial for regions? I know
I've tried to get it to work well and failed, it could help a lot of
modders.

No I haven't started on the region map yet since I'm waiting on FLESH to send me the base file to work on.
@DA
It's so small because it's a minor settlement, I could increase the
size but then need to recreate the whole town because it doens't fit
into the walls then anymore.

Small settlements shouldn't have heavy fortifications, maybe some light
sharp point wooden walls or some such, but that would really anger the
Bosmer

Yeah I think they will be less angry with stone than with wooden walls.

They don't mind if the wood was cut outside VW. Further they adore woodcrafted things
And the settlement is in the north, where Bosmer are less strict with the Green Pact.

I wouldn't say they are less strict, I'd think it's because up north
Valenwood is more Imperialised and so they cannot practice their
rituals fully etc. And since it's a small village I'd doubt that the
settlers would go through so much trouble as to order wood from outside
Valenwood when they have nice large trees right in front of them

When unable to practice some burn with rage, but others grow more lax.
