I am now temporarily ceasing work on Veranis Hall to work on the seamless transition town as I stated in the GIS.

First things first, what should we call the town? I don't think Calipier ever gave it a name,
Next, what percentage of the town should be made using the common tileset, I think it would be better if that was the only style used.

What do you guys think?

UPDATE 16/12/2010 #2
1. Fixed trimming on the thatch roofing of each house.
2. Added Bloodspawn to give the area some color. (If we are not going to do VM this is one of the only areas we could use it in.)
3. Began Retexturing the Stable model to fit the common style.
4. Replaced all Cyrodiilic Fences to "ImperialMorrowind" fences.

UPDATE 17/12/2010 #1
1. Added some flowers and more rocks. Just general landscaping (No HM Changes!)
2. Added ruined Velothi structures all around the town. The Velothi site built there will be called, as Deeza suggested, Abatarnabi, meaning forbidden passage. When Tiber Septim invaded, he destroyed Abatarnabi and built the town there to service the Imperial Legion.

UPDATE 17/12/2010 #2
1. Added Imperial Fort ruins. I want the town to feel like a battlefield wrenched between sides for many years. Having a mix of Velothi and Imperial Fort ruins really illustrates that.
2. Added some rocks.
3. Added a cave entrance, it will be the main entrance to the Imperial Fort Ruin.

UPDATE 22/12/2010 #1
1. Replaced some ST items with Vanilla ones because their collision was a bit buggy.
2. Completed Fandius Fautus' home and gave him AI and Dial. (Dial made for quest so doesn't make sense right now)
3. Replaced a stone lampost with a wooden one just outside the inn. (Vanilla but not used anywhere in the game)

UPDATE 24/12/2010
1. Began work on the final house.

It's Calipier.

One style sounds good.

The pass is called Tiber Septim pass.

Perhaps Tiber Septim village.
Maybe not,
The name Tiner Septim wouldn't be given to a minor village IMO.
I have no preference.

You could attach a poll with a few suggestions.
I might generate one using the name generator. Might string together two Imperial last names.
Passhold
Passgate
Gatehold
Holdgate

Any other ideas.
I like the last one IMO.
Holdpass
Gatepass

Big Grin

I think holdgate sounds like the best of your suggestions. Or maybe "Holdgate Pass" as a full name? Tongue (semi-joking there)

EDIT: Randomly, perhaps Mistand?
Sounds good, thanks,
I think I might us Holdgate, or Holdpass.
I personally like Holdpass better.
Anyone objects to Holdpass?
Perhaps a reference to the original: Septim's Hold?
Although it sounds more like a garrison than a village.

Passwatch?
Gatestead?
Hillstead?
Hillwatch?
Hillswell?
Gateshill?

Hehe, I'm just rearranging the same thing. Big Grin
I like Gatestead.
I wil create a poll.
