I have voiced my opinions on other projects as well (not all of them I admit, but I have my reasons). where else am I supose to voice em? the ESF? it would go to flames in less then a second. other modding sites? people wouldn't know what I'm talking about.

meh, I don't see how its wrong if there isn't lore conflicting with what they're doing. It strikes me as irrational to not make up logical-lore to fill in the blanks of things that lack lore, remember, lore is made up by a guy in a little booth with a computer in Maryland to begin with.

If there was sufficient complains about a member 'trolling' a forum board it's technically possible to nix their access to certain boards. I hope we never come to that with anyone here. Should it become an issue, I imagine we'll do an internal poll on whether to do that or not, among the project leaders and/or ST core, depending on what board it is. It's never been a problem before, and I hope this doesn't turn out to be the first.

Personally I don't understand what prompted you, Lady Nerevar, to waltz in here with your middle finger raised towards these guys. This isn't Tamriel Rebuilt, and Tamriel Rebuilt's rules or viewpoints don't apply here. At all.

One of the things I think the project leaders all agree on is that the teams in Beyond Cyrodiil should refrain from breaking immersion. It should "feel" like Morrowind if you're walking around in Reich Parkeep, and you should "believe" you're trekking through Elsweyr's deserts, given whatever lore Bethesda has stated.

Since Aldmeris seems pretty much like a blank slate as far as lore is concerned, the team creating it would have substantial creative freedom within that subjective term of "immersion". Personally I see lore as pointers that help keep the immersion and atmosphere us Elder Scrolls afficionados have grown fond of. You can have the opinion that lore should be a design guide for whatever one creates and that not having it means contradicting lore. You're entitled to that opinion, but it doesn't mean it has any bearing on our work.

I wasent at all expreseing the viewpoint of tamrile rebuilt, or any otehr mod for that matter. I was expresing my own. and in fact I finished duing so by the second post. after that I was posting in my defence.

and yes, Orodromis did originaly say something else. he edited while I replied.

If it did exist, it existed only in the Dawn Era.

Meaning that it doesn't exist now, and to find it you would have to destroy the linear concept of time.
