well it would look weird but you could have a small kestral-ish beak so it ends up about the same as Argonian face sticking out...
but really birds if they developed the same sentience and physical dexterity their physiology would be very different than bipedal like humans...

Hmm... well they're going to be a beast race,correct? well then we should add something similiar to the Renrijra - Krin,i could come up with a name for it to once we confirm the race's name,the quests for this faction could be a bunch of brute quests involving revenge and freeing [insert mod race name here] on an enemy race (maybe Dunmer rebels who dont abide by the law are trying to take this new race as slaves and you must free the [insert mod race name here] slaves or slaughter a whole ''Hlaluu House'' sort of place?)

Honestly humans and elves in Senaria don't really enslave one particular beast race, where slavery is legal, they enslave indiscriminately.

Desert dwelling Enslavers/assasins! well they are really mercenaries but they are really skilled at doing this so its all there known for now? I'm thinking like middle eastern looking humans with random other races thrown in. I'm thinking like those real assasins (well they were real doubt there around now) from the middle east that we got the word assisin from? can not remember what they are called for the life of me. I'll check into it. Alrighty then aparently they were called hash?sh?n which was distorted to assasin because the assasins willingness to die if he failed the kill made people think they were drugged on hashish. Yeah Hashishin would be a really cool name for the faction. And for looks think like middle eastern assasins in indiana jones movies I guess (stereotype I know).

really cool mod idea by the way. Rocking Banana Good job!

Hmm, I really like the idea, as it covers the merc and assassin themes Yes I'll see about including it. I'd like to have a good faction for each specialization of characters (combat/stealth/magic) and a bad one.

Gothic 3 likely took it from another source.

So for good factions how about :
Combat- Paladins
Magic- Druids/Rangers
Stealth- Undecided, maybe vigilantes or secret service

And for bad factions:
Combat- Mercs/Assassins

Stealth- Mafia

+ the Tournament faction as a neutral type thing, maybe you can represent the other factions you are a part of in the tournament faction???

Druid faction idea is great...for me at least.Idea-"Deep in north-western mountains is hidden valley,forrested valley and on the northren border of valley is grassy clearing with huge cairn stones.It is hard to find that sacred place becausee there is no roads leading to that place and as I heard from hunters and rangers it si allmost imposible to climb the mountainside.Here,take a look at this...'old sage handed me greassy,old scrap of grayish paper with some kind of map and some runes inscribed on'...I have bought it from young hunter who founded this map on corpse near cave east of [NAME OF NORTHWESTERN CITY]-[IDEA FOR THE NAME--DOBOJ].I will pay you well if you're willing to find a way to that valley,folow the map and find those cairnstones.Copy an this paper whatever you find on those stones,runes or drawings and bring it back to me..."PC accept the job,discover the cairn stones and find bunch of duids who had some kind of one-day-in-year council and somehow manages to join them--something like scripted spells from Morrowind would be great for this faction.

I just had an interesting idea from reading the above posters name Wink


We should include a joinable faction of Hircine worshipper's for the Wolven and beast races ONLY, sound good? you could start up by doing quests to harvest items too summon him later,then he would warn the clan of something coming,and yeah all i've thought of.But a lot of things may change Good job!

That could be one way to find the Druids. Originally I was thinking the elves would have a big Druidic thing going on. If so your proposal would likely take place in Northern Aelorka.

@ Shadow: no joinable Hircine worshippers-- we already have plenty of factions, and Hircine worshippers where only beast races are allowed to join limits things too much. The Druids will likely worship Hircine along with some other gods though like Azura and Kynareth.

I don't really have an opinion one way or another on the Hircine worshipper faction, but I do agree with Shadow in that we need more than six factions. I don't think that we should have as many factions as we can come up with, that's a quick way to overextend yourself and fill your mod with crap. It seems to me that more like nine or ten would be good.

3 good factions, 3 bad factions, plus the neutral tournament faction. I want to stay away from many more factions though, because we already have an insane ammount of work to do. If as we progress though and we find that we have more free time than we thought, then we can add in new minor factions. We're going to start with the core 7 though.

I didn't mean 9 or 10 factions as long and involved as the 5 main vanilla factions. I was referring to factions that the player couldn't necessarily join but would still be major forces in Senaria. For instance, the imperial legion is important in Oblivion, but the player can't join it. Sorry for the mix-up.

FYI, there are 5 main factions and the arena in Vanilla oblivion.

The Arena sounds like a cool idea. It could be in some sort of neutral city.

Maybe the neutral arena city could have something to do with the people OblivionMon mentioned above. Maybe not a race, but an order. Some sort of ultra-wise, mysterious order. What are your thoughts on this idea?

The blind folks could be a small settlement involved in the MQ, maybe up somewhere in the mountains?

The arenas will be located one in each city, you have to compete in the minor arenas to access the larger ones.
