Uhm, well it's scaled and non-mammal kind of dragon-like I suppose, and
very dangerous. I imagine it 2-3 meters tall, but that's just me.

Hmm.. could it possibly be an Ice creature? This little piece of lore would fit perfectly:
The young men go out for weeks into the high peaks in the dead of winter, hunting the ice wraiths that give them claim to full status as citizens
The angularity of your creature might work well for the Ice Wraith!

Yeah! It could very well be an ice-creature. I?ve never had any
specific plans for it. I had it laying around, so I thought I?d post it
for inspiration...
The only thing I thought when drawing it was that it?d be non-organic, and non-soft to the touch

my first impression was that it was a weird creature than would freeze
in winter but emerge in spring when thawed out and invaded around,
mate, then birth, and freeze up once winter comes....

I think an Ice creature would be more active in winter, possibly
retreating to the highest peaks or hibernating through the warm summer
months.

thats quite interesting. for some reason the skull chest peice strikes
me a odd as well as the scull shin guard would definatly hamper
movement and bang like the devil on the knee cap.
this is my first impression though

That armor is pretty awesome Sulan. I like the arranged bones for the
shin guard, but not the skull. I'm not sure what the cap with the tail
would look like, but if it's anything like Daniel Boone's racoon cap, I
don't like it. Maybe if it were just a bit larger (fluffy) without the
tail...

You know.. If you took those small rib bones on the shin guard and wove
them together with bright sinews, a few beads or whathaveyou.. then
leather lacings to tie them on.. Bone Mail..
For the chest piece.. try smaller, uniform bones, woven together
(similar to what some of the native american tribes did with quills).
Again it can be decorated beautifully. The head piece.. you would have
to have something under the fur for strength and support to hold the
shape, however I would also lose the tail unless it was a different
color from the body fur and could then be used to ornament the helm by
wrapping or arranging it somehow (not just dangling).
Gauntlets or bracers... Either very fine bones woven together or
leather. Stitch claws or talons along the knuckles and perhaps the
points of the wrist (only if they will not interfere with your bow or
anything else).
Leggings I would say would be reinforced leather. You could perhaps put
a line of teeth or claws down the outside of the legs. You might also
have solid smooth bone plates stitched to the front and back of the
thighs for extra protection. Carved and painted or ornamented as well.
Pauldrons.. hmm.. go with the old Bloodmoon idea of small animal heads?
Or.. use smooth, flat bones to form the pauldrons, carved and decorated
as you wish.
I could see this being the armor of choice for hermits and wandering
itinerant warriors. My thinking behind this is that it would be armor
that say a single warrior living high in the mountains in a solitary
cabin could spend the dark nights of winter putting together and
decorating.
Perhaps a small quest to retrieve a set of Bone Mail for the local Lord or museum (or something like that anyway)?
Just a few ideas.. hehe.. Whatcha think?
Gal

carving a bind rune of some type of protection on a palderon maybe have
a few differnt styles of the palderons ?

Ok, I've got my scanner working again and here are two concept armors.
1.Barborous Armor: This armor is pieced together from steel, chain
mail, fur, and bone. It's a heavy armor type, slightly more durable
than steel armor. This armor is quite common in Skyrim, and used by
adventurers, bandits, mercenaries, ect. It's especially common in the
colder, snowier regions of Skyrim because it's durable, light weight as
heavy armor goes, and warm. The armor often replaces steel armor, as it
is better suited to moving through the snow.
2. Berserker Armor: I haven't put much thought into this one. Basically
it's just skins and rags pieced together to form armor. It's low-mid
quality medium armor, favored by berserker types.
I hope to have more concepts up soon

That's a really interesting idea, it would probably be one of the most unique armors in Oblivion.

Absolutely wonderful Siegfried! I can see a skilled armorer toiling for
days to create such pieces and spending hours hunched over it
afterwards as he etches in each symbol and design.

cool guys!
and I like the lobster...I mean, I love eating them, and also watching them....
I remember back in Taiwan my relative has a fishery, with farmed fish, shrimp, and some lobsters... good times....
I sit by the fishery with a coconut, drinking it, and tossing pebbles at the lobster.... early childhood... miss it yeah

Ya know the lobster is best suited for subterrain lakes and rivers.
could be found in the gorge portion. its fur could be used for dresses
and armor adornments as well as decorations for house hold items.
possable quest ??
what ya think ??

don't forget the meat! lobster jerky.... a lobster of that type's meat would definitely be chewy and tough
not too appetizing but maybe something funny like if you eat it your fatigue goes down like 50 pts.

KuKulzA you better go get a snack LOL but you make a very good point
there and I will admit I overlooked the food aspect of the lobster but
I dont think calling it a lobster will fly but naming it can come at a
latter date

Come to think of it the helmet might look better without horns, I was
just thinking of raiders and vikings when I made the guy, if the horns
on the helmet go then the horn on the shield should probably go too.
Answer: The chest piece is chainmail, but the upper, fluffy part is an animal hide.

Ring Mail would work fine too, lobster fur would be good, it might be
easier and more believable though to use the troll skin that will come
packaged in Oblivion.
Here is something I sketched a while back. It could be used as a
Daedric Lord/General. After we finish Riften, the main quest of the
next area we do could be centered around hunting down the Daedra that
came through the gates of Oblivion, this guy being the final boss.
