My ESF post was for Falinesti architecture, wasn't recieved as well as
I'd hoped (I have to admit I always hope for people to graple over each
other to do the stuff I post
). But hopefully people will follow your example Liquid.

Ok here my new sketches
Ok this is a variation on the building I uploaded before. Instead or
roots/veins the walls are made of stone. This can be used in another
town, closer to the border.
Again a variation, thisone has a "tower" made of 4 huge branches. The
tree devides itself in 4 big branshes which form the tower. There's a
ropeladder in the middle.
In the left corner I drew a outdooroven, I know it's scanned poorly
Anyway I figured Bosmer cook outdoor a lot. We should use that.
Thisone is a bit different. It's inspirated on a Cathedral I passed
when I was in the train. Basic idea is a big tower with main building.
At the other side there 2 tower, eahc on a side of the main building.
All to the left you see a topdown view of the building. The walls of
the "cathedral" are organic with blue crystal "windows". Just like
another building I uploaded earlier.
This one.
Ok that were the buildings, now I need to uplaod a piece of armor. I'm
sorry for the quality of the sketches, if you like them I make better
versions of them

Indeed, I like them a lot, so better version would be great
The cathedral is very nice, and I really like the guard tower. The
tents are also a great idea, the models would looks great in-game. The
coloured one I do not understand however, what is it?

That is a very good question, all our concept artist need to make sure
their drawings are as modeler friendly as possible (the ones that are
intended to be models that is, there are some drawings that have
'other' purposes, in this case however, I think they are meant to be
models).

It also needs to be very clear, it's useless if the modeler has no idea
what he is making. Not saying yours are like that, just a general thing
everyone should keep in mind.

That one in the first post inspired me a little. So I gots me some
drawin' done. Just a small design of what the houses would look like on
a tree. Real quick. I had to get the inspiration out fast.

I've got an idea for another sketch, but I want to run it by you guys
before I start on it. It's occured to me that a city as vertical as
this will be very tiring to get around in. Imagine haviing to climb
hundreds of feet of ladders and stairs every day to get to the varous
buildings on the main tree. So, what I'm thinking is that there could
be a few teleporter pads, somewhat like the ones in the Imperial City's
mage's guild. From what I understand, the Bosmer aren't particularily
adept at magic, but I think that in a city as large as this, they could
pull it off. I'm picturing the teleportation circles as being made of
marble, possibly hovering in the air, connected to the buildings around
it by boardwalks made of huge vines, with thorns for guardrails to
prevent falling. Either that, or it would be attatched to a branch near
the trunk of the tree. Thoughts?
Edit (1):
I did consider making the obelisk glass, but it was mentioned that it should be used sparingly, so I decided against it.
Edit (2):
Ahh, insomnia. So good for drawing
. Here's another building. I plan to add to this to make it more clear,
as well as show it tiling to make a larger building, and show it from
some more angles, but for now, I need some sleep. This is intended as a
more upper-class building, it's made entirely of marble, and attatches
to the tree's trunk. Multiple of these could be placed side-by side so
that it wraps around the trunk to make progressively larger buidlings,
until it eventually becomes a ring all the way around the tree.
Upper Class Building:

In Lore it mentions that the Bosmer use lifts for getting around
between the various levels in the tree. Teleportation could be used for
the higher class though.
I like your new concept, but as it is it's hard to understand. I see
you mention you will add to it, so I'm looking forward to seeing how it
will work out

Not everyone has read A Dance in the Fire raggidman, you must take that
into consideration. In that book it mentions that Falinesti uses pully
elevators, but teleports could be used for other things.

Very nice, this could be used for Silvenar. The way the elevators work
are like Morrowind travel, you tell the person where you want to go and
it loads you there.

Silvenar? I thought Falinesti was the only city with a tree large enough to build structures on.

Silvenar is made up of Several trees from what I can understand, and
Falinesti is not the only tree that can have structures on it, but it
has the most, and will look the most amazing out of all of them (other
trees will rpboably have platforms).

I see. I think I'll brush up on my lore a bit before doing my next one.
Is there anything specific that needs drawing right now? |

Yes, Falinesti specific tile-set architecture. The other drawings you
have made are more general (like the ground one and the Crystal one).
But everything is appreciated.

Finished another sketch. I can't think of a way to tile this one, but
I'll make an effort to make the next work better as a tileset.
Link
This one is quite a bit like my first one, only instead of growing into
the ground, this one grows on the main tree in Falinesti, sort of like
mistletoe. There's a marble disc inside that acts as a floor instead of
an obelisk, which makes the walls wider than the other design. This can
work as sort of a middle-class building.
If you want any of these sketches coloured, just say so. If you want, I
can spend some extra time on one of these and colour it properly for
the video (my first one's colour job was really rushed, and was just to
illustrate what colour things would be).
@Raggidman: I'll look around if I have some extra time and see if I can
pick out some favourites for the video. The blue flower building used
as an example in the thread on the Bethesda forum comes to mind.
Edit:
No new art right now, but I did touch up the sketches and posted them
on my DeviantART gallery. No major changes though, just darkened some
of the lineart and added a parchment-like background.
Obelisk Root
Treeside Building
Branchtop Root Building
I think the background makes them a tad more presentable.
