Idea: The house is the main building in small villages, there lives the
chieftain, and if the tunnels go deep we can store supplies there.
Maybe even really deep down a dungeon with critters

Ok more stuff, was bored again.
This osn't neccesarily a house, but it's a huge sort of banana plant,
the lonbg things are indeed yellow banana like things, might life
inside it, could be hollow. I just made a quicky...
This one is better
It's a huge tree, The big roots are covered by other trees and bushes.
Look at the little dude in the right corner for scale. On top of the
big tree (uder the leaves) is a living area. On the right a topdown
view of it. It's 10 meters wide. The leaves protect you from the water,
some paper/bamboo/plantwoven walls from the wind, but you can't call it
fortified. I drew some people in the top

Exactly what I meant
The banana sketch looks a bit fuzy, any chance we can get a touch up?
The second sketch is very good, I like it a lot, is the whole tree a
village? (as indicated by the little people crossing the bridges etc.)
or part of a village? I think it should be a small village on it's own,
but add a couple more with different shapes and we have a town

Thats a great game, completed it a while ago but never played as the
evil guy. I picked the cow as my animal, and never regretted it

I played as both good and evil (easier to be good, more fun to be
evil), but I think the game is way too short. I must say I liked the
first game better (where there were other gods and all that).
Err... sorry for dragging this further off topic.

No, not a bigger version of the treehouses, but some other art instead
Nothing much to say about it, I think they're middleclass
Now I going to get some sleep, finally...

Not a bad idea, the only problem I can forsee is getting those trees to look like trees without using Speed Tree.

It only requires some skill, not all games use Speedtree

Ok just an idea, sincve the Bosmer don't use stone or wood, ok rarely
use it, why not use clay? Espacially Xylo as a rivertown.

Good Idea Like it, but maybe for important public buildings they can use stone.

I found this photo(outdated link)
while searching for sod houses. I figure with just rocks replacing the
wood and brick areas, you could have a very unique looking town. The
idea of clay houses reminded me of old sod houses. They would make for
a really interesting style. It does however resemble the shire for
hobbits from LOTR so we'd have to stay away from giant circular windows

No bricks for Bosmer, btu I think this can work:
A tent of hides and bones, cover that up with dirt, and leave the fron
uncovered. The soil is a great isolation, although it's not really
needed.

Buts its still possible then, natural models are so
much harder to make uv and texture, at least one region/town should
have some more capable Bosmers which can do stuff with stone?

Lore says Bosmer never build any city or road... So no

That city would be Arenthia, which was built by Bosmer. Natural
Architecture is hard, but think about how our mod will stand out from
all the others with it.

If you want to call the Wild Hunt cookies
quote: |
After
eighteen hours, bitten raw by insects, scratched by a thousand thorns,
they emerged into a valley clearing. It was night, but a row of blazing
torches greeted them, illuminating the leather-wrought tents and
jumbled stones of the hamlet of Vindisi. At the end of the valley, the
torches marked a sacred site, a gnarled bower of trees pressed closed
together to form a temple. Wordlessly, the Bosmeri walked the torch
arcade toward the trees. Scotti followed them. When they reached the
solid mass of living wood with only one gaping portal, Scotti could see
a dim blue light glowing within. A low sonorous moan from a hundred
voices echoed within. The Bosmeri maiden he had been following held out
her hand, stopping him. |
I based it on this, Dance in the Fire chapter 4.
