Hm, perhaps this should go into the lore section? Seems appropriate for it to go there.

EDIT: You have colour coded them, but I don't know which colour is which (apart from the obvious ones), so I say there should be a legend at the side aswell.

The names of the regions are on the map... With a somewhat bad front.

And where did you get those names? (Lord Skorm)

I thought the font was more fitting to the original text. I agree though its hard to read so here is a normal font version:

EDIT: Yes region names came from the info from lord Skorm, while the location names can from varius maps for the TES Imperial Library.

Making a regional/climate map. So he can use it for our new heightmap, so more mountains north, south will have cliffs etc.

Well if you look at the second map I posted then he looks prtty sorted for that also? It contains height with mountains. All it lacks are cliffs which will take like 2 mins to add to a map to send to him?

Shouldn't take lon g to make the map indeed but RL/school is killing here, got 5 hours left to texture and finish the model of a cannon with a max of 280 faces.

Strident coast is too big to handle as a single region methinks. We should split it up into two to make it more managable (don't need to change name, just SC1 and SC2).

OK found some info on Elden Grove, this is from tes arena (dungeons.txt). I know this should be under lore but I didn't want to start a new thread!!

quote:
Elden Grove
The small overgrown entrance to the Elden Grove stands before you,
guarding secrets forgotten for ages. Somewhere within its misty corridors
lies the third piece of the Staff of Chaos...

What does everyone make of that?

I imaging a massive pair of stone doors, at least the size of the gates in SI. Fully covered in all kind of plants. perhaps a tribe of Imga with a small village guarding it. A forgotten tribe of course Tongue

Sounds good, lots of fire flys, water pools and mist will make it feel very misteries. Any updates on the map?

Perhaps the entrance is small because all of the plants have overgrown the entrance. The plants causes to look the entrance smaller then it really is.

Hmm staff of Chaos could be some sort of Wabbajack... That makes most sence or we make it not a weapon but purely something for example the mainquest.

I'm quite sure that the staff of chaos was destroyed at the end of arena...

If you want a totally uber weapon for your main quest, why not use that sword which was made from Mehrunes Dagon's very substance in Battlespire? It pretty much pwnt Dagon in one hit, way better than what Martin/Akatosh did at the end of oblivion. The Broadsword of the Moon Reiver was its name.
