Very good, the sketches are only concepots so you dont have to stick
perfectly too them. The moddeler has the final choice (ie you). Not
wanted to cause any stick but if mormacil is not happy get him to
moddel it. We should be very grateful to have someone as fast working
as Azkur around here. Valenwood is behind as it is for the time its
been going.
Keep up the good work mate,
Tom

If a good model does not do one job, then it can do another.
I suspect that what is really challenging about Valenwood is to imagine
an architecture that blends with trees, works with them, but does not
use cut wood, and does not directly alter or change them.
That is why I began talking about using insects or animals to holllow
out trees and stuff. Obvious examples of animals that work with wood
are: beavers, woodpeckers and ants. Some ants cut leaves and use them
to build with or for food.
Everyone appreciates what you are doing, and respects your abilities
and the value of what you are doing, but when someone has an idea that
fits into something else there are times when they can't change some of
the basics. This is not being 'demanding' - it is just what is needed
for that bit.
A Bosmer Temple is described in the Book called 'Dance in the Fire'.
And this is the most important book that we have about Valenwood. If
you read this book (link to the book here) you will understand I hope.
All the best,
raggidman

Hmm I had somne thoughts of this of my own. What you are changing is my
decorative style, which is indeed an essential piece of the
architecture. Next week or so, when I have time, I'll draw some more
and better versions of buildings. And I'll add more detail as well. But
I can't really give you a deadline for now. I know that sucks, but RL
is demanding
I think I'll need more time on my sketches, not just because I got
little time, also because I want to increase my level of skill on them
as well. Azkur it's nothing versonal, nor am I a guy taht ain't like
nothing changed, but that big change of style really degrades the
feeling of the city. This model is just a piece of a larger picture, in
what my style fits perfectly.

So have you tried my request or had any updates? You know if you could
uv map the object you make then they would be snapped up for texturing
and be ready for ingame use very fast. Most people cant uv or are not
skilled enough for the complexity of the models you are doing.
I may try to see if I can do what I requested myself as my skills at blender are slowly improving.

If I could model that well I would definatly learn to uv so I can see
my models textured. I'm going to try and do the Altmer temple BTW. |
