I see you use Modo 201 to model. I tried it, and its a great program
but I found that maya is what I'm used to, soo it made it difficult to
model in Modo, soo I gave up. Do you, by any chance know a plug-in made
for Modo that allows a Very similar interface to Maya, not only camera
movement but Hotkeys as well, thanks.

hi there as I didn't have much time I decicded to do a simple "sword" I
call it the stileto sword and I have a cople of ideas that I will write
down the image.
this shold be an ayleid weapon the most powerfull of there weapons and
I have a "reason" why. The weapon is built from singing to the trees so
they grow as they sing and so the final result is a branch with the
same shape of the stileto sword, then the forger have to give the sword
to his owner (who have to deserve it by making a quest ) so the owner
or the player goes trough a montain and colect a welkinf shard in the
top of it, then he goes back hand gives the sword and the shard to the
forger and then the important business begin. The forger have to open
the branch with a clean cut and then open a hole thorugh the sword and
insert the shard then they wait two or three days until the magic power
inside the chard close the bransh of the tree and after that the branch
is trough inside a Metal mix that takes the iron steel and titan, some
say it takes welkind mini shards it self, then as the branch of the
tree as been in tuch with the shard, the shard as memory and so nows
how the branch was and when the tree his burned the shard reconstruct
the branch with the metal and so the stileto sword is finished.....

If you have fixed everything, put all the files into a .rar (even the
ones you gave me already) and host them on Filefront so I can get my
hands on them

I can make that armors easily but there is one problem the one with the leafs.
it is alost impossible to do without making it high poly model like
6000 polys or something but if the texturer can make them it will be
possible........ and flesh I will put the files as soon as I can....

The ones on the chest could be mapped togive them a 3D look. Only the
ends of the sleaves and the bottom of the "skirt" have to be real.

The temple? No it's not textured yet. I suspect Pheonixamon has been
having difficulties right now as she hasn't had time toi respond to me
expet on one occasion recently. I hope whatever problems she's having
get sorted out, because I know what it can feel like to have severe
problems at home

oh I can do them rounder. in fact I was so distracted that I didn't saw
the sketch very well the cause of the problem of my pauldrons is the
sketch that have a rounded think in the midle of the pauldrons and it
takes mme to think it is beveled or something

The cuirassplate's border/edge, green in the colored version is
slightly thicker the the rest of the plate, so if it's possible with
polycount, I like that to see that in the model
And the inner part of the pauldron, marked by the circle/oval of green decoration is also thicker, like the border/edge

Pretty darn impressive.
What's that chest part you're using there? Your own making or?

I said Sleaves
And those leaves are made of leather, since the whole cuirass is made of Jerkinleather.
quote: |
Sentry Jerkin
-this leather style is common throughout Valenwood. It is tight fitting
and made from the hide of several different animals. Softer pelts are
for the inside and on the outside coaser skins are used. It is good
protection for those who can use it well but not extremely good
protect, it may turn a few blade-strokes before tearing, so skill is
required. |
