the circular/disk thing is way to small. Check the sketchs, it's really shaped like a hat.

sorry for my error but I will do another version like in the paper but
what I did was a 2d to 3d distortion (basicly my brane assumes that the
circle is plain and not as the impossibility in 2d is)

The final word must come from Walrus. But I need to say some things
too, first, make sure that the door and window areas are sealed off, we
can't have them open because people will see in. Next, make a door and
window mesh that fits into them, and lastly, may I ask if the roots are
detached?
Other than that it looks good, but some improvements need to be made.

Before you post the other scene, please fix up the window problems
aswell, infact it's not required to make it so that the player can't
see inside, just make the window and door fit snugly into the window
and door slots (again two separate meshes) and I would be delighted
Keep up the good work
(Walrus your opinions is needed aswell)

So I'm sitting here today, minding me own business when an idea comes
out of nowhere and molests me. So I hit it with a piece of paper.
http://img300.imageshack.us/img300/6410/lanterntreehh2.jpg
I'm not sure if it's lore appropriate, but when I thought it out, this
was designed as the VW equivalent of the Imperial Wayshrine, a small
magical well left dangling off a tree by the Bosmer. You walk up to it,
dump a coin in the bowl and voila, blessings be upon ye.
Anyway, it was just an idea, take it, leave it, molest it as you will.

Hmm I don't think it fits for a wayshrine like thing, I also got a more organic lamp.

When I see that, I imagine it standing as a huge centerpiece, gleaming
white, the player entranced by it, a small gate leads into it . . . .
That looks more like a palace to me, but man would that look cool ingame.
Windy: I like the wayshrine idea, we don't have much lore on those, so it's not going against it in any way.

yeah flesh I imagined that to have the measure of the imperial tower or
a litle smaller maybe but with a similiar texture with white and light
green colors...
I dont know... but it shouldn't be easier to find since it would take
all the glory of the building.... I think you should make a quest to go
and find this place and then to enter you should had to make
something....

Hmm, perhaps this could go in our garden, what do you think Mormacil? It needs to be used somewhere.

I think it would really fit with my blue crystal with green organic
wall theme. I can imaging it as a temple entrance, perhaps it the
bigger cities> Or ad one ancient site, perhaps MQ related?

The most impressive huge tower thingy looks like something an Altmer or
Indoril might create. And it should be absolutely massive. This is not
a Bosmer thing, so it might be the centrepiece of the biggest Altmer
City in Southwestern Valenwood?
The Lantern or incense tree looks fine and highly decorative, an nice touch. They might be found in Forest Temples.

Damn that's good.
But maybe more irregular form since it's natural?

Perhaps it could stay rounded and hang like it does as the product of a fruit bearing tree?
When they ripen they start to glow, a dim light building up until they
reach maturity? They would of course have to be evergreen trees so the
lamps dont go out at some point!
Also loving the incense/ hanging lamp - Street lights perhaps?
The Altmer tower is fantastic not to mention unexpected - can see it being integral to AD remnants in the south

Looking very good Mormacil
Perhaps when they ripen they fall, but the glow stays, otherwise it is
impossible to break off from the tree, models models and more models

Azkur has asked me to post an update because his internet has gone
screwy. Unfortunately Photobucket could not recognise the file
extensions so I couldn't upload the pictures.
But he has done this:
A new Altmer building
Windows for the SP Pod
And a mountain house balcony, this last one needs the teams opinions
seeing as the Bosmer are bad with rocks, when picks are upload everyone
can get a better understanding.

volatile ...

threads
