This is pretty much the same as my post on the Skyrim forum, but I also want to help out for Valenwood Cool :) I'd like to help model. I (like to think I Tongue ) am and artist, and so the idea of making models and the like for you guys sounds fun. I don't really know that much about modding as technical computer junk has never been my thing, but I have some skill in Blender (which I can get better in, I just need inspiration/something to DO haha), so I could make static objects or objects with no moving parts (someone can then take the mesh and make it a workable object with collision and Havok for CS I presume...). I work best with pictures/concepts for reference. here's a link to my devart page (in scraps) for some other work I've done with Blender. http://mindteller.deviantart.com/gallery/scraps/ I was particularly inspired to help out when I saw those Blossom houses and all the tree city stuff (not that I didn't know Valenwood had them, it was just cool to see a concept art). I love forests. Anyway, if there's something I can do, tell me (so long as you think I can do it by the stuff in my DevArt page... I could start small no worries) and i'll get to it ASAP. I do got school, but meh, it doesnt usually get in my way. Hope to hear from someone soon,
Demayetay

PS I dont know how to texture [yet] so i'll need guidance on that as I believe there's a resource to get them from... oh and I suppose I can do concept art if anyone has ideas or requests...

The Woodlandman greats you :D Really we could use you here. So if you want to model some things, just go to the Concept Art subforum. Dig in some topics, best is to start somewhere in the end and look around a bit. Some of the earlier sketches are dismissed and not used anymore, waste of time to model them it seems to me Tongue

Just don't do any armor yet, we might change a lot of that very soon and it's not certain how many designs will stay, you can of course take a look at them to see how we see Bosmer armor.

Blackshark's Concept Art
Architecture Concept
Lutemoth's concepts (some are already done Wink )
Needed concept art (random stuff)
Weapon concepts

So start at the end of the big threads Wink

As for making some concept art, well just dig in the lore and read first Wink Lurk these forums for info, know the culture Wink
