A statement. One we will agree upon?
I've been browsing through the various items we currently already have in Oblivion. There just isn't anything that seems to stick with the Khajiit style, but perhaps some disagree with me?
I was hoping I'd be able to create a large variety of equipment using nothing but retextured items, but it seems it's time to start modeling again. The only problem is that sources tell me the only thing we can create are weapons right now. Have you guys seen anything ingame and thought "Wow, that'd look good for the Elsweyr project if <insert change here>."? Either way, I got to pick up my modeling skills again. It's been way too long for me. |

Does anything say where the practice of arena fighting came from in TES? Could it be a traditional Khajit thing along with the armors? Just a really random thought that could provide some cool cultural stuff if it works.

Ive played two and a half games of Oblivion so far as Khajiits, and from my perspective pretty much nothing really looks good on them, nor does anything really reflect what one would imagine to find in Elsweyr. Unfortunately, Oblivion dropped a lot of its variety as far as weapon and armor materials go, and most of the remaining ones seem to be metallic or mineral, which dont really fit with Khajiits.

I agree, there needs to be armour that was designed to fit a Khajiit. It seems that the armour and weapons in Oblivion were designed around more human type characters.
As far as weapons go, I think a cythe would fit a Kajiit pretty well, as far as weapons go... I think the armour (or clothing) in the concept art for this project fits the Khajiit's style pretty well. |
