Mournhold, Narsis, and Tear ARE important though... what do you guys think of House Indoril and Dres colonizing Vvardenfell?

I meant the other two cities you were talking about, and those two colonizing Vvardenfell would work fine, they could maybe add a couple temporary city/barricades for themselves.

I was thinking that the Dres would have 1 quarrel with the Hlaalu about the Ascadian Isles farmlands... these were taken by the Hlaalu via erronous land deeds... the Dres want famland... they also don't really like Imperials at all... and of course not the Imperials' "pets"...
Indoril might content with other for control of Vivec City... perhaps they want to impose strict laws on the Cantons to make sure Indoril has a strong voice not only in the theocratic arena of Vivec City, but also politically... I think Necrom should be in an expansion... and Bal fell & Firewatch in another... |

Great House Indoril might begin colonizing a section of Vvardenfell to challenge Hlaalu since Indoril used to be the dominant power in Morrowind. Perhaps with new settlements around Azura's coast or maybe House Indoril takes over Molag Mar (since it doesn't seem to belong to anyone specifically...)
Great House Dres would likely make inroads along Vvardenfell's Bitter Coast as there is already slave trading and smuggling there... both popular with House Dres. Perhaps they started it all..... As for the other large cities... build them like Bethesda did in Tribunal... Bethesda created Mournhold as an INTERIOR cell, so there was no risk of "escaping" the city area (remember the big gates that don't open? So Narsis, Mournhold/Almalexia, Necrom, Tear, whatever... could be created as interiors with transportation via mage service or strider or ???. Ben
So what happened to the Dwemer?

Well, if you need any ideas of city design I still have older versions of the TR map files available. Only map 2 can be playtested (they made the other ones with bugs and can only be viewed in the CS). You'll be able to see the work in Necrom, Port Telvannis, and I think Narsis (not sure on that though).

Ben Vagara:
Yes, I think that if Indoril were to begin colonization, the southern end o the Bitter Coast would makes sense. It is sparesly inhabited, The only large cities are Molag Mar and also Tel Branora. Therana could be a threat as she is powerful, but left alone she does nothing. By the way, Indoril and Redoran practically have a join control over Molag already... most fo the Buoyant Armigers and Ordinators are Indoril and Redoran, although I believe Buoyant Armigers are mostly Redoran where-as Ordinators are almost totally Indoril... hence the reason Indoril warriors ARE ordinators. I think Dres would colonize the Ascadian Isles, but I don't think they'd colonize the Bitter Coast.... the Ascadian Isles were taken by Hlaalu using erronous land deeds, but it is in front of the Thir R., and that makes it easier for House Dres to get to... plus it is good plantation land and also Dres are into slaves and farms. Rodan: well... thats sounds great! I thinker perhaps we could use those for reference... I don't plan for us to copy Tamriel Rebuilt .....but seeing how they made their cities might help us organize ours. I unfortunately don't have TES3 MW for pc, so do you think it is possible that if you are willing, perhaps you could send it to one of my "second-in-commands".... but I will need to notify... |

fighting it out with lore-masters of ESForums...Indoril+Dres on Vvardenfell, etc. [clicky]
so I think this is what we'll do: Vvardenfell mod 1- Vvardenfell landmass 2- Necrom, Mournhold, Narsis, Tear 3- Telvanni Isles* 4- finish making main quest Expansions 5- Bal Falls & Firewatch *Telvanni Isles contains Port Telvannis, the main clan-stead of the Telvanni. Also, it is a few islands and so we can get away with having it secluded with an invisible wall somewhere a mile out at sea... however, the other cities are all in some sort of open mainland, not easy to subtly close it off... |

its flexible...
but Vvardenfell mod 1- Vvardenfell landmass 2- Necrom, Mournhold, Narsis, Tear 3- Telvanni Isles* 4- finish making main quest is necessary I think... |
