keep in mind that quite a lot of landscaping will not be done on the heightmap editor, so is is possible to get nice looking dunes. its the smooth vertices which make it more difficult.

Each pixel in the HM editor represents one vertex on the heightmap. You can make things just as detailed in the Heightmap editor as you can with the landscaping tools in the CS. For dunes I'd definitely recommend the Heightmap editor. It will allow you to make large sections of contiguous dunes that would be incredibly time consuming and difficult (read: impossible) otherwise. Just get a few good aerial photo's and get cracking! The most important thing is to change the colour masking in the Heightmap editor, so you can edit the heights very precisely.

just noticed a mistake. I forgot to merge Pahmarfix.esp. it's still the place holder model. is merged now for future release.

Senten: type player.moveto 01002625 into your oblivion console.
Mridley: it should work of the bat. i did clean install testing before the release and everything worked fine. perhaps they are not quite in the right place? Which tileset are you having trouble with? Orcrest or Dune? File path for Orcrest tileset should be meshes\Elsweyr\Architecture\Orcrest\whatever mesh file is called. Dune should be the same, but instead of Orcrest, its Dune.

Senten: Are you sure that you have ElsweyrValenwood.esm marked in data files to run. 01002625 is the ID number of the Sweetmeat vendor in Orcrest. it should take you to him. Just in case it is different for you, go into the CS load up ElsweyrValenwood.esm. Look in the KhajiitCathayRaht race, and find Jzhid, right click go to use info and click on the TESAnnwyn cell that comes up. in the render window (you may need to zoom out a little) double click on the guy with the red clothes and bring up his details in the base object box should be Jzhid and in brackets is a number, his ID. write this down. now in game type player.moveto whatever number he is on your comp.
