Caring for others is most of the time for personal gain.

It can be for your own values, I just believe that you can value truth. I'd even venture to say you ought to value truth. To do otherwise is to really deny any meaning. Existentialism is attractive, and some of it's perscribed action I agree with, it's just the foundation and conclusions that frighten me.
It's difficult to accept the idea of truth, until you really seriously consider the alternative (Which, interestingly enough, is either religion or nihilism)

I am not morally evil.
I think that depends from person to person... I do observe many types loose intelligence in large groups :cough cough:horse people:cough: But do I count as a human then? hmmm... probably not... Actually, my base mental programming is so different than that of people around me, that I sometimes wonder if I am an ai put into a human body or something... (or maybe I am just one anomoly amoungst stupid people here in Washington) I always reduce psycology down to it's equivalent robotics. Other people though always have trouble dealing with that concept but, I have reallized that essentially, we are machines, we just are much more sophisticated than say, the ai at pandorabots.com... Eventually, there will come a point if we are not disrupted at which we have to decide when we consider a computer system concious and self-aware. Basically one of us. I also wonder about some people I meet though. Seriously, I've met a few that you really have to wonder if they are concious. The primary differences between us and machines: Perception, questioning, purpose, and evaluation.

That's a silly statement, what machine can be said to have a purpose without a human compoent? Without a user or beneficiary, what would purpose even mean?

(Screwing up is also a human concept, we die, then the concept of a right or wrong state goes with us. Just saying. BTW, I do support environmental conservation, just not any conventional proposed methods or conventional arguements for preservation)
