well, Argonians come in all shapes and sizes, as well as with all different horns, fins, etc. We have 2 types of playable and NPC Argonians, People of the Root and Naga, so we need to think of the different type sof Argonians, their decorations, horns, and fins. Same with the Naga... here we go....

"Breeds" Of Argonians- Marsh-Jungle Breed
I am thinking this will be the default type of Argonian. Most of those who have ventured out of the Black Marsh are those living in the forests and marshes on the outskirts of the interior. They are dark, reddish, with green and thankfully done for us.
- Murkwood Breed
These Argonians are short, colorful, and the most native. They have been in the Murkwood area since the dawn of their race and many don't recognize or even know of the Empire. They are said to have lance-like face and whip-like tails. This seems to suggest a fish eating diet with a narrow skull, and a whip-like tail for locomotion, both swimming and on rafts. Their colorfulness probably comes from the fact they live in a dimly lit place, is misty and dark marshes or under the canopy of tall trees. I am thinking they will be bright reds, yellows, and orange; and then also green.
- Shadowscale Breed
These guys will be short, muscular, and have green eyes. They have only the generic plain fins or short horns and are sleek and stealthy. They are compact and muscular and black scaled, perfect for assassination. Their eyes glow very slightly in the dark.
- Mangrove Breed
This type of Argonian has truly adapted to the Mangrove regions of the Province. They are mottled with browns, grays, and green. They have small stick pads on their fingers and are short. They are made for climbing amongst the roots of the mangroves.
- Coastal Breed
The coastal breed is much more brown/coppery skin. The hands and feets are more webbed and the tail has that membrane found on tadpoles, makes it a fin-like tail and better for swimming. The coastal breed is darker on the head and back and lighter on the belly and the insides of the legs, this coloration due to the fact they often swim, darker tops is a good thing for these very aquatic Argonians. They are adept at boats though, for longer journies.
- Laborer Breed
These are like the kind seen in Morrowind, grey or tan. This type is caused by over-exposure to the sun, overstressing through labor, and malnutrition, has eventually caused the developement of an enduring breed, however, the difference is more appearance than actual adaptations or behavior, most are identical to the Marsh-Jungle breed from which they originate, except for their coloration.
- Archein Breed
Once these Argonian advisors became mediators between Imperial governors and the native people, they grew more and more corrupt. They also began breeding for special traits, and thus are taller than most argonians and have more fantastic frills and horns, as well as coloration. This breed tends to be green, golden, silverish-grey, and blue. Obviously it is a sign of selective breeding and pedigree.

Nagas[/TITLE]
Different Appearances
Horns on Head - (along the eye-ridge)
Head-Spines - (growing out of the back of the head)
Catfish Feelers - (on mouth and arms)
Primitive Wings - (skins on the insides of the arms to the sides of the chest)
Back Spines - (spines coming down its back like a Hunter in Halo)
Crest of Fins - (coming down from the top of the head down to the base of the neck)
Back Scales - (armor-like back-scales like a crocodile)
JUST A THOUGHT
* perhaps Nagas, because of their anatomy cannot wear armor or clothes (but conveniently to add the different spines or fins we can make 'armor' that is not able to be taken off, selected by the player when he makes a Naga character
