Ashlander Tribes
There are the four main Ashlander Tribes, and then many others that are smaller and their lineage is less sure. They are usually a mix of kidnapped House-folk, barbarian Dunmer, exiled Ashlanders, and some are from the original tribes. In any case, we should establish the histories of each tribe, will enrich the lore and environment for the mod. I understand to make them actual tribes, they will have to be expanded from 2-5 Dunmer to somewhere around 10. However making NPCs is not a big issue.
[Currently I am making the quest-line for Ashlanders, however if anyone else would like to claim the quest-line, talk to me and we may be able to arrange something. I have a lot on my hands, so assistance is welcome.] as for the tribal banners, we should make banners for all tribes, the four main ones already have banners. We already have a good idea of the Aemmusa, the Urshilaku, the Zainab, and the Erabenimsun... so let us do the "minor" 'Ashlander' tribes... let me begin with an example: Tribe: Kautababi Ashkhan: Adibael Hainnabibi Wise-woman: Ibanammu Assutladainab Usual Location: Mushroom woods of Azura's Coast Known-for: Conoon Chodala was their Ashkhan long ago, a failed incarnate Business: The tribe does fishing and foraging along the Azura's Coast. Occasionally they will visit Molag Mar for trading, and sometimes go to Tel Branora to trade as well. If the weather permits, they will sometimes travel to the Molag Amur to hunt game. Current Events: The Kaushtababi now have become a regional influence. Pilgrims going to Molag Mar often find that if they trade with or give gifts to the Kautababi, they will find easier passage to the Temple fort-town. Traveling Telvanni wizards in the area find that they can travel safer in the mushroom woods if they give gifts to the Kautababi as well. Tel Branora give a small annual gift package to the Tribe to maintain the informal truce, the Telvanni will not attack the Kaushtababi, and the tribe will not raid Tel Branora. Due to the influx of Indoril refugees int he area, the Kaushtababi are feeling increasingly encroached upon. The arrival of Indoril to Tel Branora, Molag Mar, and small Velothi towns of Odirniran and Mawia have upset the balance. The small-time alliances, trade and politics of the region are disrupted by semi-wealthy refugees and desperate Indoril warriors. To try to maintain influence, the Kautababi try to force the Indoril to to rely on the Kaushtababi for survival, but the Indoril quickly found allies in Molag Mar and Tel Branora as they brought with them wealth and potential. All in the area, especially the new Indoril refugees from the mainland look down on Ashlanders, but now the Indoril are here, the two towns no longer need to rely on the Ashlanders and can use Indoril as their hirelings and traders in this somewhat dangerous region. Thus the Kaushtababi are beginning to turn to the Erabenimsun for aid. If amongst the Houses Redoran is the greatest warrior, then amongst the tribe Erabenimsun is the warrior. Here are the minor Ashlander Tribes... Minor Tribes Kaushtababi - KuKulzA Bensiberib Sobitbael Aharasaplit Aidanat Shashmanu Mamshar-Disamus Mila-Nipal Sharsidon Salit Yakaridan Massahanud Elanius Mabrigash Clans Esukallit Ashamanu Shashuri So feel free to step right up and claim an Ashlander tribe's lore and current situation. |

Tribe:Aharasaplit
Ashkhan: Zarahkel Subaddamael Wise-woman: Usual Location: Southern Coast of Dagon Fel Known-for: War mongering and lots of raiding. Also Fishing and Farming Saltrice. Business: Fishing off the southern Coast of Dagon Fel selling their products to the Orcs of Valenvaryon and Tel Vos, Vos. T Current Events: Fishing has become very competitve since the arrival of their old nemsis the Nords. The nords have bigger boats, larger crews, and longer nets making their catches stock pile while the Aharasaplit dwindle. The Aharasaplit number in the 30's and are known to get angry and go on a raiding spree. They have captured a Nord longboat which they have modifed to their purposes so they can catch more fish. The Nords got angry at this and sent a small force of 15 troops to kill the village but they didn't intend on them already knowing of their arrival. Hidding in the hills they rained arrows on the Nords killing most of them and then killing the rest of in meele. They prefer to slow the enemy down with bows and then meat them in combat with sword, axe and shield.

good, you might want to also mention that they have a feud with the Urshilaku tribe, and also explain the lack of an ashkhan and wsie-woman... basically why are they leaderless... killed by urshilaku? killed by Nords?
