Official 'Black Marsh' Interior Claim: Laps-Sap-Gladly's Hut [/HR] Laps-Sap-Gladly's Hut AVAILABILITY: Completed by ToaVak [/HR] (Please excuse the unattractive CS screenshots.) [/HR] Description & Details [/HR] Unlike some of the Argonian villages, Hixinoag is much more open to outsiders. In the past, the residents have survived through simple generosity and goodwill. It has helped that there is good land nearby to harvest the goods of the marshes. Besides the typical choice of fish and other water-dwelling 'catch', there is a plentiful supply of monstera and especially sugar cane nearby. The sugar cane field is encompassed by rock and features the mine wherein numerous valuables can be found. The residents of Hixinoag kept the mine from prying eyes (Dunmer and Imperial) for quite some time until one Dunmer forced them into slavery. However, an uprising occurred, and ever since the wooden fortifications have remained as a reminder to the residents of the greed and cruelty of the Dunmer. However, it was during this uprising that a number of non-natives assisted the Argonians in their fight, having benefitted in the past from the experience and expertise of the natives in helping them deal with the hostile territory of surrounding regions. This is why a Khajiit and an Altmer still remain in the village to this day. To the traveller, Hixinoag is a treasure...and that's not just the mine. This interior claim contains the home of Laps-Sap-Gladly. Contrary to the expectation suggested by the name, Laps is actually a Khajiit but has gained an honorary Argonian title through his exploits in the fight against Hixinoag's Dunmer oppressor. He is now rather aged but of good humour. Beware trading with him, though. He will steal the shirt off your back and regard it as a good joke! He is also on good terms with Dances-With-Naga so don't expect to be repaid. Inhabitants: Laps-Sap-Gladly has not been created yet. Mission Connections: None as yet. NPCs: 1. The NPC must have (full) dialogue and AI. Please choose an appropriate Argonian race (this can be discussed, if needs be). Don't forget the pathgrid for them. The NPC is already named but you may change the name if necessary, so please discuss this and other details in the claims discussion thread ('General Info' below). [/HR] How to mod your interior Interior modding carries with it the same responsibilities as it does on our father project, Silgrad Tower. This means that there will need to be NPCs, Containers, Lighting etc. For a really nice checklist that is very, very thorough, try this one from Zurke: A handy checklist to create an interior for ST . Zurke is the most experienced and prolific interior modder I know of so it's all good advice. [/HR] Cluttering your Interior NB: Objects for this claim will be minimal. Please use smaller objects. A good idea is to use the hanging fish and maybe add some hanging meat (once this model has been created by our modeling team). The bed will probably be a bedroll or rootbed but the ‘nest-bed’ is also another idea that may emerge later from our modelling team (see Rickious’ concept art). Also, if you really need to make the area larger by re-scaling it then please ask. Please try to use the BM objects as much as possible. And try to consider the story behind the owner of the house (which you may adapt unless stated) and add clutter as appropriate to them and the particular locations. This might include foodstuffs, flora, cutlery, paintings, tribal items, custom furniture, bedding and maybe a desk if this interior involves using the NPC as a trader. There are now LOTS of cultural objects for such villages as Hixinoag including cupboards, rootchairs and so on. Please ask or check this thread to find out more: Clutter Advice . Please remember to light the area. Argonian or Imperial lighting can be used. Oilplants are great but they're rather strong and, thinking realistically, may prove hazardous if near flammable objects. Checked it - again, there were a lot of floaters and no ownership assigned. I've fixed that and added Dialogue, including the requested sword dialogue.

Ok - TV has been using Trollf's daggers in some of his claims, so I think he's making maximum use of all our assets.
I've noticed that none of the new races have any hair options, other than the default spikes. I did find, however that all the custom hair options are available for the Vampire Race, so there seems to have been some kind of a mix-up in the race creation process.

You're right! I notice I haven't copied them across properly. I'll get these facilitated properly and then alter the NPCs where necessary once they're available. Thanks for the heads-up. :goodjob:
Just FYI, all of the above should have the new hair options once my esp is submitted and merged. However, complex things like head dresses should be reserved for shaman and high-ranking characters.

Some hair types might not look right on particular Argonian breeds but I just made them all available anyway so you can pick and choose.
