I was going for a Morrowindish feel to it, kind of an older, faded, terrain earth tone, feel. I modeled my work from the concept art, lore(alyied ruins), and alot of Dagon Fell Influence. Dagon Fell was built on top of Dwemer Ruins, but served as an outpost for Nords. They used the ruins as housing and whatnot. My thought is maybe we can have the ruins in Stormhold be usful to the community as well. Maybe even a whole underground community as well. We could have multiple stores, houses, and whatnot underneath the town. It shouldn't be too big though, not much bigger then the above ground town, but it would be cool. We could have multiple ways to enter, and even some other ruins deep down that have yet to be used by the city. These could serve as storage on the closest levles, but become an adventure in the deepest level, and it seems fair to me that we could even go beneath the water table.

Quote:Originally posted by The Grey Wizard Now that you've said that it has to be done. From your description it would be a perfect place for people who didn't want to be found (thiefs, refugees, cultists, you name it). Maybe we could have hidden entrances to the deepest regions and put a sect of one of the guilds there (I'd personally rather see the thieves guild along the coast, but it would go nicely here). We couldn't make the ruins too dangerous, maybe just storage, housing, and a guild. After all the Imperial Legion is right above and this is fairly far from the dangerous interior of the swamp. This also quest potential. A mages guild research station could be located in the city, we could have a quest to find missing people, end a smuggling ring, drive back a horde of monster broken lose from the ruins, a great mage could have lived in the ruins and some of his valuable magic could be left for the player to find. Endless possibilities, a lot of it depends on what we want to put in the ruins though. All of the things I just listed could be put in other places just as easily and I think this calls for something large and unique. We might even include it in the main quest. |

Good thoughts, but as Stormhold will be our first impresion the players will become accustome to it for sure. I really like it, takes me back to MW's former spirit, and as I said, soul is everything. I deffinatly think Stormhold should have alot of involvment with the MQ, but lets not discuse it in the open. We should have a private team forum or board. BTW, I bought a MIC today just for you guys and I have a few recordings I'll upload when I finish.

Sweetness, can't wait for those.
I completely agree with you about soul and oblivion not having it. We'll change that. |

Man was the female argonian voice hard to get right. I got it down though. Let me know what you think. I used AV VCS Diamond software to change my voice to an argonians. Here is what I could get.
http://www.webfilehost.com/?mode=viewupload&id=4720840 I had to put the wave in a rar because web file host dosn't accept .waves' what BS. "Welcome to Stormhold Mages' Guild, may I be of an assitance?" -Teeth from Fire, Stormhold Mage

It sounds too much like straining. Like you have to go really bad. No offense. If you could deepen and lengthen, it would sound more Argonian.

Really? I thought I had it. I'll try again. This time I'll go for deeper, but remember that I want FEMALE argonian.
Edit: 5 new voices. tell me what number is the best. I like number5 the best personally. http://www.webfile.ws/d/11837/ IDK why the link didn't show in my last edit, but here it is now. LOOK AT IT SOON, as I have been egarly awaiting some feedback on it.

5, where?
Personally I don't see anything wrong with the Argonian voice. It sounded a bit nasally and the broken, but the oblivion voices were far too perfect anyways. It's more realistic in my opinion, of coarse we couldn't use that voice too often Lolz. EDIT: I see the link now. Cheers. EDIT2: I like the second voice, it sounds feminine and argonian. |

FINALLY A RESPONCE! *praises god*
I couldn't judge by myself. Don't worry, I plan to make a unique voice for every NPC, I have a crew of voice actors for my mod, and I will get them to help out here as well. I will have real women, and other men in the future, I just have to go to school and talk to some friends. Oh! and BTW, how did you like number 6? :lmao:
