Redoran interiors
I was wondering of the work going for the interiors of the Redoran buildings and the other houses. I know each one takes some time to make it correct but the work on the exteriors has been going great!
![]() Edit: I've just read Razorwing's message and I realize that it will take quite awhile before we have the house interior sets but thought I should start this for updates ![]()

Quote:Originally posted by Rodan At the moment Caligula Superfly is editing the exteriors, to make them smaller and perhaps more realistically sized, and so the interiors have been put on the backburner a bit since they need to be made using the exterior as base. I had one interior made in the old scale for testing purposes, with placeholder textures and mapping (a quick job), and it functioned pretty well. Once the new batch of exteriors come off the presses I'll have another go at it, and bring in some of the interior textures Zarf created.

The funny thing is that I would like to learn how to do the modeling itself. Maybe if I have a little time this summer I can learn a little.

Aah! Welcome to the Guild of Modellers then
![]() I've been modelling for little over a year now, and it's incredibly gratifying to be able to bring in custom models. Not to mention very rewarding, creatively, to realize one's ideas like that. That kind of freedom is impossible to find in 'just' the Construction Set (which isn't to say that one can't mod fantastic locations with the stock stuff as well).

What I'd like to do is create the canal models from Arena and make it improved for Oblivion.

Quote:Originally posted by Rodan I see. Hmm *thinks* a relatively easy way to do it would be to export the sidewalk NIFs from Oblivion, using NifSkope, and then edit them in 3D Studio Max. Because then you'd have a set of tiles that are already configured to fit together snugly in the CS. As far as I can tell it would just be a matter of substantially elongating their base, so they can reach down all the way to the seabed. (and remapping them, because the mapping would most likely be screwed up by doing that)
